Hi.

Finally able to get master and unlock the additional module slot for my Atlas Founder.

But.... NO additional module slot in my mechlab ! Basic Atlas-D is given with 3 modules slots without any upgrade. So I should have 4 slots now...

Can't understand why. Is the pilot lab mech tree no more available for founder mechs ?

Tx for feedback

Try exiting the game and restarting it. A couple times I've unlocked master and had to do that to get my slots to show.

Edit: Ah yeah, they get 2 slots +1 from master so 3 is where you should be. Only the ddc gets 4 slots.

If you mastered your atlas d and it has 3 slots, that's working as intended. Your founder atlas should have 3 slots when mastered, since it's default is only TWO slots.

So the Atlas-D Founder is NOT an Atlas-D, since the default of the latest is THREE slots

Thanks for your replies and have fun !

Hmmm, I don't know where you got that information. They always list changes to module slots in the Patch Notes. Also a check on the MWOWiki would show AS-7D still listed as 2 slots.

My Founder's Atlas works same as ever. Extra module slot included.

Completely incorrect.

The Atlas AS7-D has 2 slots.
So does the AS7-D(F).
Both can be upgraded to 3 module slots with mastery.

They are absolutely IDENTICAL except for the paintjob and c-bill bonus, and always have been.

The ONLY atlas that comes with 3 slots is the D-DC, which can be upgraded to 4 with mastery.

Or are we misunderstanding you and your question /complaint has to do with the pilot tree and not the module slot itself?

You right, I checked again and saw that the standard Atlas-D has 2 slots. I don't know why it was displayed once 3 slots. Bug ? Latency ? Or simply my brain which is becoming jelly ? I suppose it's the latest option...

Sorry for the trouble and thank you for your accuracy :)

If you try to buy the Atlas-D in the mechlab, having the founders version mastered, it will show the "updated" number of module slots of 3, instead of the default 2. It is lacking some visual mechanism to tell you that it's 2 (+1) which implies mastery.

It is the same kind of missing "visual hint" that you have speed tweak enabled on the mech.

if you look in the mech purchasing section it displays the incorrect number of stock module slots, but it is showing how many you are going to get because of mastery.

Example.

When im looking through the mechs to buy in the menu it shows my unmastered mechs as mostly having 2 module slots but all mechs i have mastered show up as mostly 3. So its not the stock value that is always showing, which means if you went to look at the Atlas D in the buying menu it will show 3 for you since you mastered the founder atlas D.
