They're names of "hero" mechs from the Battletech Universe. You'll find 'em in novels, era reports, technical readouts, etc.

Im all for a sale on light and medium heroes. but other than the wang these are more like sophomore and juniors than seniors.

Guess it's time for me to pick up The Death's Knell when this goes active. I've had a ton of fun playing with my Wang....

actually i think the wang was the only one not created by PGI. i am assuming they decided to avoid the licensing issues, of established "heroes".

Same criticism for every news item that appears on the site:

The images you create for the news item:

Posted Image

These images need to go on the actual news page. Also your news page headers need reformatting.

Anybody linking to your news page just gets "MWO: News" as the tagline and the only images available to use from that link are two MWO logos and a PGI "Now Hiring" image, which isn't very descriptive of the news item being linked.

Next time you try to butter us up with light-medium hero mechs, try having some that are actually good.

I guess the Yen-Lo can sort of fall into that category, but the BJ-1 still outperforms it by miles.

Niko calls us the unclean and lets us out twice a week. He really is a kind and caring master, really.

Cheers.

Yen-Lo is so damn good. Bought it last time it was on sale and probably one of the most fun mechs in the game. Keep it simple, play smart, wreck faces and all that with a nice 30% c-bill boost.

So I'm new to playing MWO regularly but how much is 7 days of premium time anyway?

I hate when things make me search everywhere for a price of something.

In the game click the Add Time button. Time/MCPrices for Premium Time pops up. 7 Days is currently 1,250 MC. Which is $6.95, so it's about a dollar a day.
