Will Hero mechs get a Loyalty Point Bonus? If so, I could see myself buying these when I get home.

Next time you try to butter us up with light-medium hero mechs, try having some that are actually good.

I guess the Yen-Lo can sort of fall into that category, but the BJ-1 still outperforms it by miles.

The X-5 is probably the best of the (limited number of) heroes that I've bought. Mind you, I'm a big fan of a mech that acts like a light but has medium armour.

Oh damn - I'd go for a discount YLW but I just took on twelve new Phoenix mechs.

I bought the X-5 last time it was on sale and it turns out I enjoy mechs that act like mediums but have medium armor.... :)

I seriously hope they will use more canon hero names..
There will be plenty of possible 'Hero mechs when Clans will be released.. Vlad Ward's Timberwolf, Joanna's Mad Dog, Khan Vandervanh Chistu's Executioner, Ulric Kerensky's Gargoyle, Aidan Pryde's Summoner..

BTW... When another MC sale? :)

This could be me, but I'm pretty sure the Ilya Muromets was released before the Death's Knell and X-5... Making her more senior...

Yen-Lo-Wang? That's not a hero mech.
Now the Yen-Lo-Pan, that's a hero.

So I'm new to playing MWO regularly but how much is 7 days of premium time anyway?

I hate when things make me search everywhere for a price of something.

U find the Price in ur Mechlab when u click "ADD TIME" next to ur MC countermark ^^

Guys, I really like what you are doing, and I appreciate the works and so, BUT IS IT REALLY NECESSARY TO MAKE ANOTHER UPDATE THREE DAYS AFTER USUAL PATCH? ITS 7 PM in Europe, people come home, want to play, but NO, we have to make another patch, so enjoy another lost match. :) Seriously, can´t you figure out a better time to do these patches? Like during night? Even when you start at midnight your time, 8 am here in Europe is still better than 7 frigging PM.

Come on! Pretty please!

1) When one buys premium time, like if I make use of this new offer, does the premium start immediately?

2) Does premium time run for a full 24*7 hrs or does it start from 1000 PDT on the day of purpose, whether or not you bought it after 1000 PDT but on the same day, and end at 0959 PDT 7 days later?

Trying to maximise any time that I buy

They're names of "hero" mechs from the Battletech Universe. You'll find 'em in novels, era reports, technical readouts, etc.

Hmm really my source says:

COM-TDK "Death's Knell"

Named after the silver-colored Commando 'Mech of the same name piloted by Captain Bono Duganmare of the 22nd Skye Rangers,[1] this apocryphal variant of the Commando is available within the MechWarrior Online game. Whilst Captain Duganmare and his 'Mech are canonical, the 'Mech's exact configuration was not mentioned in the original source, suggesting it would be an unmodified standard model. The variant presented by MechWarrior Online removes the weapon loadout of the COM-2D and replaces it with four Medium Lasers, two mounted in each arm. The additional four tons freed up with the removal of the COM-2D's original weapon suite are devoted to an upgraded 175 Series Fusion Engine, double heat sinks, and a half-ton of additional armor; it should be noted that within the time period described by the original source, Technical Readout: 3025, double heat sinks were not available. (http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Commando)

CDA-X5

The X-5 is a prototype for an advanced Cicada. Outfitted with Ferro-Fibrous Armor, Double Heat Sinks, an XL engine, and Endo Steel skeleton, it still manages to outpace all medium 'Mechs and almost all light 'Mechs, with a top speed of 133.7km/h. Its armament is optimized for short range, with four medium lasers and a pair of SRM-2s fed by an experimental ammo system, giving it a light armament by medium 'Mech standards, but still much better than the older 2A, 2B, and 3C variants. Though the design was highly successful in testing, a combination of the extreme price of production, the relative fragility of the 'Mech, and the difficulty of piloting the 'Mech due to its extreme speed and higher inertia (as compared to comparably fast light 'Mechs) prevented the X-5 from entering production. The few prototype models deployed in combat after testing concluded proved to be a deadly force on the battlefield. Lessons learned with this model were applied to the 3F variant, though the missile capability was dropped due to jamming issues. (This is an apocryphal 'Mech, designed for MechWarrior Online.) It makes sense. It should come with a bay.

In fact, mechbays are one of the only real "value for money" purchases you can make in terms of added flexibility. Approximately $1.50 a bay, and I now have about 70 of them (almost all occupied).

I believe they already said a looooong time ago they'd never have "historic" mechs of that magnitude. But rather than someone call me a liar and ask for my source, why not stop being lazy and look for it yourself.

actually i think the wang was the only one not created by PGI. i am assuming they decided to avoid the licensing issues, of established "heroes".

the "Boars Head" is also mentioned in the 3025 TR
