Isn't it obvious that the playerbase has shrunk down to the hardcore fans only? Each and every match I drop in I can see at least 6 or 7 Phoenix mechs on my team, and it's the same story with the enemy team. Do you think a lot of new players went and paid PGI 80 dollars? It's the same people who have been paying for the game since the beginning, soon most will be on first name basis.

A ton of guys I know don't play any more because it's too hard to play with their friends.

Well I made a few posts and lots of reading waiting for a match today. My eanrings reflect that with the terrible cbill grind now. Same faces over and over too. Same teams also. Had a few in a row even though I took breaks loaded modules and pilot trees. Many here understand how it has slowed so when are we going to understand we need to focus on generating and keeping new players interested?

There is no grind, the term grind refers to some sort of metagame that is a time sink keeping you away from accumulating wealth/experience too quickly.

Since there is only ONE activity in the game, the part of the game is the very thing that generates currency/experience, there is no grind in MWO.
