Was playing with some friends of Koniving (who may or may not be a friend - that takes time no? ) - who may very well be friends themselves....

anyways I was in my new not-so-shiny-after-so-many-matches-getting-nuked Locust and I did over 400 points of damage in the match.

Second from top. Wouldn't mind fighting with or against you one day (well, actually, I think I see you pretty often, just not in a Locust). 2 small lasers, 2 small pulses and either a medium laser or a TAG, depending on when this match was. XL 190, no speed tweak at the time.

I think I had the faster acceleration and decelleration tweaks - and that was all
I ran in terror whenever anyone pointed anything at me

Nice...unless I get myself killed really early on, I am happy if I get 100 dmg, with 200 the rare exception. Sadly, that's with 5 MLs. Then again, in a Locust I take the scout/capper role seriously, and I've ended matches with 3 damage where I was happy with my performance. Ok that's rare, but if we won Conquest by virtue of capping, and I flipped "their" base early on, then I feel like I should get some credit even if I did die horribly.

621 was the best I could do so far with a 5MLAS setup. But more often than not I'm dead before I can even do 200. Putting out decent damage with the machine guns is hard to do though, well done.

Counting that match my average is about 100 dmg
Discounting that match it's about 60

With the locust if I have any reason to believe I helped at all I'm happy but I could say that about any of my mechs

Nice to see locust doing good damage, you really need to be good light pilot to do that with locust

Try switching from MLs to SPLs, your life will improve astronomically. No heat problems, higher DPS and strafing runs galore.

Also, since you're going 150+ you'll have no problems closing into the 180Ms range for your SPLs to deal damage.
