There are too many Hard-Counters, not enough Soft-Ones

Actually, there are too many soft counters, and some seemingly bad hard counters.

Quote

1) PPC. (Hard Counter) Soft Counter - 4 second temporary removal.
2) ER PPC. (Hard Counter) Soft Counter - Same as PPC.
3) BAP. (Hard counter) - It's a hard counter with the only caveat of being a light mech (generally) being in range of the ECM mech @ 150m.
4) advanced sensor range. (Soft Counter) - It only expands detection range, only so slightly, though significant at the relative distance where this would matter.
5) enemy ECM set to counter.(Hard Counter) - Worst counter instituted ever.
6) TAG. (Soft Counter) - Terrible for missile boaters, and only most effective vs the D-DC.
7) Narc. (Soft Counter) - Noone really uses this for its intended purpose.
8) blowing up the carrier's left torso. (Hard Counter) - No imagination.
9) UAV. (Hard Counter) - 60 seconds is as temporary as you can get, plus the UAV can be shot down.

Either way, ECM is bad, and you should feel bad that this is what it is.

The OP's post is a bad idea for the most part. The D-DC would be most affected by this, and it kinda eliminates the already hot PPC (especially AFTER the heat increase/stock TT heat spec) as an option for the ECM capable mechs.
