Last few scenes are being sent to the renderer right now.

I estimate it will take about 10 hours to render it all.

After effects, audio, and voices will take a bit longer on top of that but things are going along relatively smoothly.

Average mech pilots, lance leaders, radio operators, aerotech pilots, tank commanders, etc. The clanners have no dialogue at the moment and I'm not planning on adding any as it tends to come out really cheesy.

I'm not really making up too many recurring characters due to the chronic unreliability of working with people over the internet.

I actually could do multiple characters if you really needed me too. My habit of improv acting for no reason has given me a wide array of "characters" I can play.

I'd offer to help, but my voice sucks, and my acting is worse. But if you need more mech concepts, gimme a holler. I might not be running my TRO on here anymore, but I gots quite a few

My voice is deep but monotone, so it isn't very good either.

Here's a minimal script to follow, just private message me a link to download the file or ask for my email.

Go ahead and just pick your own designation for your pilot, just record two or three of those lines so no two people have the same designation.

Remember, voice work is best when you don't act like you're reading from a script.

Feel free to add your own lines in as well, but this is just a basic idea.


For mech pilots:

"This is (Alpha/Bravo/Charlie/Zulu/etc.) (1-4), engaging."

"Firing at will."

"Moving to flank the enemy."

"They've got some kind of crazy range..."

"...what is that a catapult?"

"Lance leader is down... looks like... the tank battalion has been decimated."

"Falling back to nav Foxtrot."

"Position at India is overrun."

"No contact with bandit forces."



Aerotech pilots:

"Zulu (1-5) standing by."

"Their fighters have us ranged."

"No sign of enemy dropship."

"Hostile battleship located."

"I've never seen these craft before..."

"We've lost a Shilone."

"Moving to engage."


Tank commander:

"Still no sign of the bandits."

"Wait one... Target spotted."

"Engaging."

"Armor engaging."

"Holding position."

"We seem to have them ranged."

Will do. At the moment I'm focusing on animation and video editing so I probably won't stop to add more models until the next episode.

Minor update: Most of the animation and rendering is done for the first episode. The battle sequences just need some polishing and sound.

I may be delayed a bit due to other things I must work on but things are going fairly smoothly.

I highly recommend checking your local library Kilroy... I was composing some music a couple years ago and found audio CDs with loads of sound effects ranging from all sorts of things from forest, city, industrial, machinery, etc... you can definitely find something for the Mechs or ambient sounds etc... can't wait for the first episode!

I'll keep that in mind. I'm heading there anyways to print out some super fun DMV paperwork so I'll stop by to see what they have.

Got a bit delayed myself due to work and the recent holiday.

I've updated the clan list with the Shadow Cat and Dire Wolf.

Innersphere will have the Spider as well, I'll put up a render when I can.

Doing my best to wrangle together all of the voice volunteers. Due to various reasons this part tends to take the longest. For now I'll keep editing the existing animation and adding more assets.
