I've been noticing for a long time now that the server overload and number of non-registered hits become a far worse problem the more AC2 boats, MG mechs and LRM boats are in-game. This problem has also been noticed and verified by friends who live very close to the servers in Canada, and whom have powerful rigs.
I highly recommend that PGI review these weapons to either fix these excessive server-load issues, and either fix them or add an option to hyper-simplify projectiles, up to and including removing thrust flare from missiles entirely, in addition to increasing the damage of individual MG shots and reducing the rate of fire.
I feel this would go a very long way to reducing both server and client stress, and help leaps and bounds with HSR calculation loads and hit non-registration.
