This is repeatable:

Any time I alt-tab out of MWO after a mission starts (including from the wait screen), the textures on battlemechs are no longer rendered correctly; some glow green, others are electric blue, some are plaid, and many look cratered/damaged.

Also, please remove the redundant ready button and shorten the wait timer to 10 seconds. The waiting room has become a toxic pool of hate speech.

Same issue here with alt-tabbing. Frustrating, but not game breaking. I try and see the upside, though - enemy mechs are so much easier to spot on Terra Therma when they're glowing neon green!

No issues from my end like those above... I use MSI Afterburner to overclock my GPU and monitor cooling... I do get texture glitches once and a while when I have a browser running in the background because for some stupid $#% reason web browsers soak up a lot of system memory... also, if you got Win7 32 or 64bit edition, disable your Page Filing memory and Hibernation... this will free up system resources that should be directed toward your game... boost your Virtual Memory (using free harddrive space) and run on a non-system drive (not C drive)... if this doesn't help at all (assuming your graphic problems are consistent), check the game's specifications vs your system specs. One of my team members insists on playing from his laptop and gets between 7-14FPS while playing... it took us a while to explain it was his computer holding him up and not his internet connection LOL!

I reported this issue as well months ago. Alt tabbing, come back, and the mechs all wear a 'damaged' skin that shows damage over the entire mech.

I'm not really complaining per se - the funky textures make me think I'm in the 80's again.

I just thought someone should know.

There is no negative impact on FPS and no other performance issues have appeared, so I was inclined to blame it on the software.

This may be a nub question, but why run from a "non-system" drive?

Have your Virtual Memory run from a non-system drive... the game itself have installed on a system drive. This frees up resources on the system drive while the VM runs on a secondary drive with lots of space available to allocate to. I have an SSD for my main drive (which is awesome btw) and mechanical drives for my alternate drives... MWO is a CPU/GPU/Memory hog... I've got an i7 3770K CPU (liquid cooled), ATI Radeon HD 6850, 8gb GSKILL memory, lots of case fans and this thing still taxes the hell out of my PC... even when I used to run with my older i3 2500K CPU

Greetings all,

Just a note to the OP, the current "Ready" screen was designed to allow commanders and lance commanders to move specific mech's around the company to better fit the "Role" that Lance would be conducting. This would be the Community warfare second start screen, then moving to the map selection screen. UI2.0 should eliminate some of that as there is the "selection" screens for mechs and lances.

Now, this Company Formation screen is not being used for what it's designed, and when someone does "take Command" there is some animosity towards that player. Especially the "alpha" profile players who need that control aspect. (or just childish behavior) There is very little trust currently in "Command" figures as we have no basis or record of command or winning stats. As CW progress's the good leaders and tactical players will become known, and probably be asked in chat to "Assume Command" if they would like.

"It is better to have an army of rabbits, lead by a Lion than an army of lions lead by a rabbit."

Sorry not really on your original topic, I don't see any graphical issues ever. I would hope as soon as we get the new updated engine and DX11 installed you will see an improvement from your computer resources and the game. (testing on the PTS should start late Oct/early Nov.)
