This is a nice sale, thanks guys! Let the swarms of Phranken Locusts arise!!!! :)

If a locust has phranken camo, does it have to get headshot TWICE to be put down? I'd be in favor.

Pgi, I like your sales and all, but could you make a custom halloween pattern? I don't know. Rusted metal, blood on the foots and fists/cannons, mold.. Something that makes the mech look completely destroyed or abandonned but still walking. Just a sale seems meh and having only cockpit items you will mostly be the only one to see is nice, but also meh (to my opinion). Lokking at other online computer games, they have big events prepared pretty much every years plus some free stuff. We have a small sale... Whould have bought, but this is kinda meh. Will probably still buy a pumpkin tought, The blue and black ones look nice.

This sale sounds great!
Was about to buy some MC to get the Phranken premanent pattern for my Shadow Hawks and Battlemasters (and maybe finally for my Jenners and Hunchies as well).

I went into the Mechlab to try it out and see how it looks on those Mechs, only to find out, that it is not possible to customize said chassis with other patterns than the default and the Phoenix Hotrod/flame pattern at the moment.

O.o

Why is that?
I payed the full price of 80 dollars, so please enable all the functions you promised me for my money.

I quote from your offical Project Phoenix FAQs (http://mwomercs.com/...t-phoenix-faqs/):
"Q: Are the Project Phoenix Phoenix Variant and Standard Variant Mechs customizable in the areas of exterior cosmetic changes, loadout changes and/or cockpit customizations?
A: The Camo Spec, Loadout and cockpit customizations can all be user-selected and changed for the Phoenix BattleMechs and their Standard Variants."

There is no mention, that this feature would only become available at a later point (once the chassis in question becomes available for CB for example), so I don't get why this is not already activated. There is no reason to do this. All it does is to (potentially - in my case it sure does) annoy some of your best customers who (again) spent a lot of money on your game to support it.
Once more: I urge you to please follow through on your statement and enable me to use the function I payed for now, so that I can spend even more money on this game and buy patterns from this sale for my Phoenix Mechs.

Please do not answer me now with "technical reasons" or "will be activated once the chassis in question are available for CB purchase", as to the first I would reply that I'm sure it is technically possible - seeing how you already did it for the Locust - and to the second I would reply that that would be a good example of how to annoy your customers without the slightest necessity to do so.

edit for typo

Actually, I'd love a rusted-out abandoned type pattern anyway (especially if it textures it).

So strange question if you are going to use the Raven as your poem base will you be putting out a Raven variant at the end? I would like to see that. Big fan of the raven frame.

edit for typo

The way camo patterns are done, they each have to be manually created for each chassis. Camo patterns are not simple textures that can just be stamped across all chassis. The only patterns available for the non-publicly released Phoenix 'mech standard variants (SHD, TDR, BLR right now) are the standard pattern and the Hot Rod pattern. The rest of the patterns have not been made for those 'mechs. I'm not sure how long it takes to create a camo pattern for a new chassis, but it was probably longer than they wanted to spend time on before the chassis had to be released. I am certain however, that all patterns will be available when those chassis are publicly released: SHD in November, TDR in December, and BLR in January (and expect this pattern to follow through with the WVR in Feb. and GRF in Mar.)

TLDR; technical reasons

EDIT: Also we've already seen this pattern forming when they started selling new chassis for MC: They only have the standard pattern until they are available for CBills when they have the rest of the patterns made available. When they're available only for MC, it's sort of an "early preview", which is what the SHD, TDR, and BLR are in right now.

Sorry, but I disagree.
If they take my money, they take it all and what I payed for was early access (and of course the other stuff that came with the Phoenix Tier)
not early preview with limited functionality (except in those cases it was clearly stated that delivery would happen at a date later than the 15th of October).
As shown in the link I posted ealier, they stated specifically that "The Camo Spec, Loadout and cockpit customizations can all be user-selected and changed for the Phoenix BattleMechs and their Standard Variants" with no mention of this function being delivered later.

Now, I'm aware that

, but deciding to deliver a product that is limited in its advertised funtionality (even if only temporarily) is simply bad buisness conduct.

Why does this annoy me so?
Well, for once I will have to pay 1250 - 1875 MC more to unlock the Phranken permanent pattern for my Shadow Hawks, Battlemasters and maybe Thunberbolts (if I should decide to buy it for those too), because I will not be able to purchase them during the current sale or I will have to wait for the next sale, whenever that may be.
Also it is starting to make me feel like an ldiot again for trusting this company once more to deliver as advertised after giving them quite some of my money again.

But, it's the only Hunchy variant that avoids the 7+ med Ghost Heat for Hunchies!

There is always irony to what you think is given by PGI, and what you actually get.

Edit:
Although, I wonder if I purchase one of their basic packages to get the "Flame Pattern" that it would be "transferable" to the other PP mechs when they are on sale. For instance, if I were to get the basic Talon package.... would I be able to have the Flame pattern on the regular Battlemaster variant (the two non-Phoenix specific versions) when it is related in January or is it limited to just the Locust non-PP variants.

No. You will get the Hot Rod pattern for whatever Phoenix package mechs you got. If you only got the Talon package, you would have the Hot Rod pattern for the LCT chassis for free, and for the other chassis you would have to purchase the pattern separately.
