how come we cannot peek on other players battle stats, it does help recruit faster. we must have the option to share or make it private should we not?

You want more ego massaging on the forums?

If it's needed for recruitment use screenshots, although if the only criteria a unit looks at is your KDR you really ought to look for a different unit.

Kinda sad if you deny pilots based on stats.

I think having your stats shown would make the game even less team-based.

You get people to care and brag more about their own stats, the more likely they're just gonna bum-rush to get the most kills, forget about their own team and then whinge that their team didn't help them win the game.
It's (or should be) a predominantly team-based game where fire support, capping and reconnaissance help win the match.

Don't wanna make it even more meta dps free for all, do you?

I love stats. But I like mine private and I don't have a desire to go look at other peoples. I'm glad it's this way.

I'm good with hidden stats, but also don't care if people see them. As far as recruiting, wouldn't it be better to drop with someone a few times to see how they play? I mean selfish ******** could have great stats, but suck on a team, or take orders poorly.

If you are using player stats for recruitment you are doing it the wrong way. Now that we have private matches send them into a private match and watch them play. Stats are next to worthless for a plethora of reasons.

This is the reality. On top of that, not only are some stats worthless, they also make people who somehow think they're worth something do stupid things like hide and shut down, go all over the map to shoot every enemy once, crowd the last enemy for one more kill and end up shooting their teammates in the back, etc. They're not only useless; they encourage stupidity.

just a basic referrence which also means he is not one who just stupidly charge on the enemy and has situational awareness knows where to grp up with other lancemates. For me hes got better judgement.
Numbers are just a basic reference next is the training for a real 12x12 team deathmatch. well i really dont care if you don't want to expose your numbers, i just think it's a GOOD OPTION to make it private or not. I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT BUT WHAT OTHER PLAYER WANTS. IF YOU WANT TO HIDE YOUR NUMBERS I DON"T CARE and i really dont care. IT's just an option no one is forcing you to reveal your HIGH score or how many battles you've win.

which stat, pray tell reveals this little gem of wisdom? I really have to recheck mine because I never knew they tracked your situational awareness.

Now if you are actually going to be silly enough to try to claim that KDr will reveal this, you really are new to how the internet works, as a significant portion of players go out of their way to boost their stats, and are not adverse to limbing and then finally killing AFKs while the rest of their team is getting slaughtered in the main fight.

Recruitment by Epeen.

That'll lead to good group chemistry, as long as all involved are into circlejerks.

Judging a person, be it real life or in a game based on arbitrary numbers, which out of context don't mean much is very unethical.

It encourages the lone wolf behaviour that killed a lot of competitive team based games and why they're not popular today. [Anyone else miss Capture the Flag and other team based games?].
You add the statistic watching element, people will just try to boost their K/D and other such stats and even rage quit if necessary.
[And it's not as if it doesn't happen often]

Stats as a basis for recruitment is laughable. I can imagine how effective a team full of KDR warriors will be. :)

You want to see how someone fights? Put them in a private match. There will be no hiding behind stats there.

Like a pilot baseball card right? I kind of get that, but I still doubt the utility of the statistics we have been provided so far.
