Actually, the germaZns built an eariler super heavy tank, at about 120 tons for use in WW1 the existing prototypes were destroyed at the end of the war as part of the war's treaty. K-wagen.

Indeed, the Maus sitting in a russian military museum is a composite of the two maus fount at that site, in theory once the russians cobbled it together it was a functioning tank.

The original version of the Behemoth was an attempt to create a Super-Heavy 'Mech by the AEAF during the Hegemony Campaign, so the fact that the Word of Blake's Omega looks like it is no coincidence.
