Which to be fair. Is very true. Some folks just need the time to get use to it and ease in at there own pace.
Do these players need to be seprate? Hell no. If they are that new to need to use 3rd person then so be it. Hence why there is a ELO system for it- lots of them are new guys so a good amount of us will not see it that much any how. A lot of the time i forget its in the game. I dont know about you guys- but i never really see 3rd person players- maybe the odd one here an there but thats it.
The fact that our mechs dont turn right away or they actually have to take the time to speed up and slow down is hard for folks to grasp. hell ive had people tell me that it actually ruins the fun for them when they are new to a game and the unit doesnt respond right away. Hell ive watched/herd some of them literally panic when LRMs start hitting there mech or when a srm hits them. They start to get frustrated very fast. A few have also just rage quit right after that or just start to give up and feel demoralized.
Basically MWO sorta nurses you off that mentality which a lot of modern games get you addicted to. Hell Im glad its in. Anything to help get new players a custom to MWO is a good thing.
Besides. We dont HAVE to use it. And if you feel its such a big help then ****, use it all the same. If you need to REALLY see over that hill slightly then sure. Thats all on you. Rest of us can deal with it since we dont have to use it.
