It's just stupid for people to discuss things in length only to find out everything is gone because the person who started discussion decided he didn't like it. Extra stupidity for it being an option for indefinately long period of time. This feature makes way more harm than good.

PS. Thanks for fixing "keep me logged in" option. Although you didn't announce it broken or fixed, it was clearly broken and now it is clearly fixed, makes using forums much more enjoyable.

Well, it's mostly there for people who make a thread they regret later on and delete them without the involvement of mods. :)

The trouble is that whis way OP can claim ownership of 100+ messages, disposing them at free will. Do you think people on page 10 of the thread care much about OP?

I have no trouble with mods deleting posts or threads, because they need a reason to do it, but in the current system OP has power to delete everyones posts completely because he just feels like it, and often enough that's exactly what happens.
