Hello everyone!

(And we are LIVE! Enjoy, everyone!)

To tide you over, here are the patchnotes!

UPDATE

Greetings MechWarriors!

Here is a nice little patch to brighten your day! No more ready rage!
The Waiting for players screen timer drops to 20 seconds once all players have joined/loaded!
Our favourite founders who ordered Phoenix get their Founders hanging item!

There is also a handful of bug fixes and we will see you one week from today for our next patch!
Matt N

Content
 • Inject the Founder hanging cockpit item. This is for only Founders who purchased a Phoenix package.
Gameplay
 • The timer during the waiting for players will now jump to 20 seconds when all users have connected to the match.
Bug Fixes
 • Fixed an issue where the Dragon 'Mechs were firing one missile at a time.
 • Fixed a missing texture on the Champion Atlas' secondary missile launcher.
 • Fixed a text tool tip where it said Air and Artillery Strike do 10 damage for each bomb when it should say 40 damage.
 • Fixed an issue where the AMS was not working on the LCT-3M.
 • Fixed an issue where if a missile hit a POD near the 'Mechs head it would do no damage to the torso it was associated with.
 • If a user has an invalid 'Mech loadout they will still be able to launch the tutorial.
 • AMS will no longer fire when a user disconnects.
 • Artillery/Airstrike online SFX will no longer play during the drop preparation screen.
 • Multiple map bug fixes.
 • Increased the chances of getting Caustic Valley map to match other maps.
We thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you on the battlefield!

- The MechWarrior® Online™ Team

Enjoy!

ERMAGAWD! HOORAY!

Me and my 9(+4) Dragons thank you PGI!

Where's the forum outrage that this patch doesn't end world hunger and cure cancer?

I can provide if you really want one :)

More frequent patching means patches will be smaller, I thought that would be a given. I think the new modules were slated for sometime November, i could be mistaken. There was a timeline given in the other thread.

It sounds like the head/torso POD thing is related to the underwelming damage output of SRM's, so they are making progress there which is good.

I'm sure at least a few of them have been waiting since MW4 for a quality MechWarrior game and bought into the promise of MWO, quite literally based on those high-roller badges they have.

"High-roller badge" sounds like good cockpit gear to me...

some things fixed, some things still not (Orion CT, Spiders hit registration, etc) and such. So the game became incrementally better on a 3rd patch of the month.

Nothing exciting to see here, but certainly nothing to QQ about, either.

Increasing the frequency of Caustic Valley? Anything to reduce the chances of fighting in Terra Therma I guess. When is the Terra Therma map up for internal review? How about an in-game dialogue asking for a 1-10 rating for each map. Star Conflict does a nice job of gathering feedback, and it makes me feel that my voice is heard (though it is only one among thousands).

Last I seen during US primetime that number was in its 700s. I know its only half the market because of russian developers but still.

and terra therma isnt bad, its just that most players are too cowardly to go into theta during conquest matches, so if anyone from pgi is reading this more cover inside the theta volcano please.

Thanks for the underwhelming patch.

Well, what do you expect? UI 2.0 was literally supposed to be out by this patch, and it wasn't. Of course, you're an awful entitled gamer if you have the gall to expect them to follow through on anything they've said. See, the problem isn't with PGI failing to meet expectations, it's with you for daring to have them. At least, that's what all the guys with 3,000 posts tell us.

I mean sure, they dropped the ball on UI 2.0 actually releasing in October, but they made the bad launch timer they intentionally introduced just recently less bad as of this patch.

Thanks for the patch. With every patch we get closer to a complete and well balanced game. People complain about the incremental updates but would you rather go 6 months between bug fixes of little steps? I'm glad we're marching to a better game all the time!

Thanks for the patch!,

But I think the most people who are complaining, are people who wants to experience something new or fresh in the game,
the game is now a long time quite the same, without really great improvements or new game experiences.

Caustic, eh? Hmm.. From my own experience, it's Alpine that could use that boost. Comes up very, very rarely for me.. maybe once during a long session if I'm lucky.

Solid patch, little bit boring but you can't have the bells and whistles all the time.

Btw, what was wrong with Catapult Energy Hardpoints?

Let me see if I get this straight. You put in a ready button to give 12 mans a "strat" time. It didn't work for random drops at all so instead of just removing the damn thing from randoms, you make it USELESS FOR BOTH.

Do you guys even think about this stuff? Who comes up with all of these idiotic decisions? It's getting more ridiculous by the month.

Sure, its something so tiny and stupid to complain about, but it exposes your design team all the same. This isn't some throwaway Duke Nukem feature; this is MECHWARRIOR. Stop being derps.

The vast majority of the community has no idea that those people even exist. They are out there just playing the game and having fun.

This does not seem like a 100 ton patch that should have been here ages ago...

Weightless.
