Since the last patch, I've noticed LRMs are hitting the center torso much more often than previously, in some cases exclusively hitting the CT. I've noted this both shooting and getting hit by LRMs. Is this a bug, or has the algorythm changed for LRM percentages by hit ocation?

I'm not sure what you were getting hit by, but the troll build of the month is using 6xLRM5s+Artemis on chainfire.
If you do not have an AMS equipped you are going to get cored, and quickly. It's a constant string of fire that, because of the LRM5's tight grouping and nature, will almost always exlusively hit your CT when it has Artemis equipped.
(Note: I know this because I've been guilty of trolling with the build also. However if your opponent has AMS equipped you're practically useless against them).
