Thank you.

Yes when I get an Idea in my head I tend to run at it full force. This list took me an estimated 8 hours to complete.

I read every mech profile to sort them, and even added some mechs to the IS that were Designed Inner Sphere but Stolen by Clan. It was educational.

Imp is listed as Inner Sphere, but is Clan.

That's odd... Sorry about that. I wonder how I gummed up that one?

Thanks for letting me know. I've removed IMP from the Inner Sphere Mech List.

Just making sure you guys know about this.

http://masterunitlist.info/Unit/Filter

Type in a mech name and it gives you production start years for each variant, which TRO it is in and what era it is considered in.

Atlas

Might help you out with your lists. Might also want to check on the forums as there are a few folks coming up with a rarity list that takes into account loss of production facilities and how many mechs there are floating around of that type.

Bump. Niko Snow, can we get this thread pinned? I really do think it is of value.

Looks like I've duplicated the work you guys have been doing, but... oh well. I complied a list of all the non-extinct IS 'Mechs with at least 3 variants that use our current technology.

http://mwomercs.com/...uture-is-mechs/

It looks a bit more concise than the lists pulled from your sources. It might help, it might not... but oh well, there's my contribution.

Here is a quick list of whats available through 3051: google doc made with SSW

Green is in game
Grey is not enough varients
Red is in game but out of timeline! (according to SSW and solaris7.com, RS3085u-PP just says "clan invasion")

The IMP was brought to the Inner Sphere by the Wolf's Dragoons, and they licensed the design out to several companies for manufacture.

I found the Imp in TRO3050, and it was indeed brought to the Inner Sphere by the wolf's dragoons Somewhere around 3040~3050.

It is also, in TRO3050, listed as an inner sphere mech. As such I am going to re-add the Imp to the inner sphere list.

I sent a Note to Niko. he Said he could only make it a sticky in the BattleTech section not the Mechs & Loadouts.

I fyou want definitive dates, there's the Master Unit List.

For example, the Succession Wars downgrade of the Imp is listed as 3005.

Just so you know if you get solaris skunk werks, you can sort the mechs, highlight and than control-c copy all the columns... and than open up open office (probably libre office too, but I haven't confirmed that), paste the data from SSW into a blank OO writer document, add the appropriate column names seperated by tabs at the top of the text in OO, and than highlight the entire thing in open office and than go insert-table and it will automatically create a table with all of the text.

Actually I think I have that book. TRO 3050.

And Looking through the links General Taskeen and Joseph Mallan Have provided...

Apparently I was wrong. Blackjack was produced twice? one version in 2757 and again in 3057

This is going to be fun...

The first one (from 2757) is the normal Mech. The second (from 3057) is the IS Omni Mech.

Production was not until 3056.

"The 'Mech was plagued with production delays that were finally resolved in 2772. The Starslayer never served in any great numbers in the SLDF, as the manufacturer refused to ship to them due to a lack of needed shipping information during the Amaris Civil War. As a result, many of the relatively few Starslayers produced never reached their units, and were put in storage instead. " - Sarna.net

I will add it to the list, but typically Production year implies when the mech was widely introduced to the universe.

You are mixing up two types, the 2C and 3C, the 2C did indeed see production in 2772 and was used by the Lyrans:
http://masterunitlis...arslayer-sty-2c
http://masterunitlis...arslayer-sty-3c

Also, Sarna isn't all that reliable, here's the official fluff from TRO3058U:

Quote

Overview
The CRB-27 Crab was poised to become the
standard medium ’Mech of the SLDF when it began
walking off the assembly lines in 2719. However, by
2750, less than 1,000 Crabs had been deployed.
Cosara Weaponries kept promising increased production
but never delivered. By 2763, the SLDF’s patience
had run out, and a request was sent to several
weapons manufacturers to propose a replacement.
Blue Shot Weapons’ innovative design was awarded
the contract in 2765.

Ironically, numerous technical issues at the South
Fork plant and persistent issues with FireScan prevented
Blue Shot from producing the STC-2C in any
significant numbers until 2772. The SLDF began operations
to retake the Terran Hegemony worlds from
Amaris that year, an excuse apparently used by Blue
Shot Weapons to delay shipments until the SLDF provided
“up-to-date” shipping information. It would seem
that Archon Robert Steiner II may have influenced
such “miscommunications,” as Blue Shot appeared to
have no problems delivering Starslayers to Lyran units
engaged in “pacifying” the former Rim Worlds Republic
worlds.

After the Amaris Civil War ended, the SLDF
straightened out any confusion that might have existed
by activating numerous penalty clauses for failure to
deliver on their contract. SLDF units began receiving
regular shipments of the ’Mech in 2781. However,
between the initial delays of Blue Shot Weapons, and
several convenient Lyran storehouses of the STC-2C,
numerous remained available for the Lyran House
troops to recover after the Exodus.
