With the current payout of cbills as it is no one would bother with 8 mans anyways after a couple of games...

Who wants to earn 1/3 less then what we are currently getting anyways?

I don't see any reason for it. I like 12 premades even in small maps.

You didnt "fix" anything. Most of the "Founders" or "crowd funders" that got this heap off the ground are part of a "unit" and play with "friends" on a consistent basis. The same can be said for the people that bought into the "Phoenix" cash grab.

Im part of a unit, FWLM, and my unit is MGA. I still PUG, I run with the guys from my unit, probably a 30/70 mix, dependent on time. I dont play much anymore, as this game is broken, and for the foreseeable future it will remain so, as the devs are of limited talent and foresight.

The casual gamer is fine, hell I consider myself to be one. I ask for no special consideration. The problem is when you have a bunch of "everybody gets a trophy" special kids, that think they are getting the short end, who then proceed to get but_hurt, and complain, the devs model the game around them, which they have, and the game dies. Dont believe it? Ask around. Ive got a few hundred people on my friends list, and maybe 10 of them play anymore. The FWLM Teamspeak server used to have 200+ on a regular basis, not its about 20-30 primetime US. Its not rocket surgery.

The real issue here is the fact ELO is broken, there is no weight matching, and there is no effective way to coordinate a group of PUGgers in a game without spending the entire time typing and hoping that the kids with the 5 minute attention span dont have a brain cramp and go Rambo. Until they have that, the solo player will always suffer, as the people that play in active units will always have the upper hand. Splitting the queues does nothing except for greatly fragments the player base.

Nice passive-aggressive there. My point was that the 'crowd' doesn't equate to everyone who plays in 'units'. I don't get why you're telling me that there's less people playing, if you look at my other posts you will never see me arguing that they aren't losing people.

Which one of my three sentences is a straw-man? The one about your being passive-aggressive?

Or perhaps the sentence where I say that not everyone who pays for this game wants to play 12 man? If you can prove to me that everyone who's sunk, say, $200+ into this game has or will play in a group, then I'll gladly shut up. My third sentence has nothing to do with this, I just mentioned it because you're preaching to the choir and wasting your time.

Give us the ability to form 8 man groups to drop in 12 man!

Give us the ability to have more then 4 and less then 12 in our groups!

Open things up to be more friendly to the people footing the bills and let us have as many of our friends as we want in our groups up to 12!

Make a separate que for pugs vs formed groups!

There should be 3 queues;
12 man "hardcore" - those who will form the backbone of CW.
2 to 11 man groups with those solo players who elect in.
Pure PUG.
As a pure PUGer i can say that this will not stop the QQing of the last group over "ROFLstomping" 'cos it will still happen with the present MM.
It may well be that you will have to wait a long time outside of weekends and NA prime time, but that's what the vocal minority on the forums want.

There is no need to exclude 12 man teams from the regular queue. It's nonsense.
You have 2 queues, one for solo drops, one for everyone else.

There is no reason to bother trying to segregate off the full teams. It's a fool's errand, and achieves nothing.

Folks need to stop being afraid that they might have to play against an organized team. That's how you get better. You dont' actually die when you lose.
