Email support@mwomercs.com, but it's unlikely if you want to change your entire name. Mostly they only allow typographical error corrections and the like, and even then only occasionally.

My main question to you, is why you WOULDN'T want your pilot name to be tribute to such an epic show? :D

Perhaps because he'd rather be named after the reincarnation of Alexander the Great's chief eunuch?

That issue pops up every now and then, and the answer is always the same.
Let's hope they implement a feature "you may change your name for this amount of MC" someday, so there is at least a possibility.

I sent an email explaining that I'd misunderstood fields (was running around with real name) and they changed it. They did use my second choice though. If I ever find the guy who got "Terciel," heck with team play, his butt is mine. :D

EDIT: b u g g e r hits the filter. Canadians! :)

They should just allow this for free, but only once per 6 months or something. So, people can't keep flipping names, but it does get around typos, mistakes, etc. For example, I would have put a space or underscore between the "old" and "radagast" - I'm old enough to remember when games didn't allow that, hence the odd spelling.

Actually, you can probably blame this one on the Brits, the Canucks just understand what they mean

Hello xMEPHISTOx,

Currently the only name changes we are making are based on these specific situations: typographical errors, inappropriate names, and players who are uncomfortable because they used their real name as their pilot name.

We do have plans to eventually put in place the option for players to make name changes via the website forums.

Regards,

Well, that's very Canadian of you (meant very much as a compliment). :)

Yeah, even us transplants tend to remember how things are (and how to respond from) back home :)
