Well, maybe it's just my second anniversary of signing up at the MechWarrior Online website, but I think that was day one for the public.

I was here at day 1 and made my account some hours later on November 1st.

Man! When they launched this site I was so excited. A lot of promises! A mech SIMULATORRRRR!

When I see what is this game today.

Well, happy anniversary... forums.

Signed up on day 1 only to actually sign up a day later because the confirmation mail ended up in spam.
I then proceeded to learn:

Mechwarrior history from before MW 4,
Battletech lore,
why I can't has Cauldron Born,
why green is cool,
why kicking a bee hive can be fun, but not a very pleasant experience,
that I have some special power to always find that certain person I will get to hate me no matter how harmless my initial interactions were,
that the age of the community is completely irrelevant when it comes to it's manners and skills in the game,
that you should never underestimate the rudeness and stupidity of young ages,

and much, much more... been fun all around.

Also been here since the beginning and it's come so very far in that time.

At the end of the day, this game has been FAR more engaging and has successfully taken up more of my time than most any other game out there, and I look forward to what the future will bring, whenever it happens to arrive.
