*RESOLVED*
thankyou for replying

Hey pilot, nice haircut.

I have been looking for an answer to this in the search function but i cant find one clear enough to give me a 100% certainty so im asking it here directly.

"If you unlock a camo pattern for a chassis group (centurions in this case) but you only have 1 centurion in your mech bays would you have to unlock the pattern again when you manage to own the other centurion variants?"

I remember i had to buy a pattern a few times when i was gathering 3 hunchbacks but recently when i bought all 3 locusts on the same day and then bought a camo pattern for them it unlocked for all chassis variants (i remember thinking "oh.. they must have changed it" and had pre-emptively loaded up on MC to cover the cost for 3 lots of the pattern)

But now on further thought maybe it was because i owned 3 of them and THEN unlocked the pattern.

help! im confused.

Thanks for reading
(would appreciate an answer before the phranken skin comes off sale please)

that time is - 1st Nov 10am PDT / 1st Nov 5pm GMT

I haven't tried this, so there might be bugs or otherwise "working as intended"...

But once you buy the unlock for all,
whether you own all mech variants or not, sell them or re-buy them, change to another scheme,
you should always have your unlocked pattern available.

One use only is exactly that - it's used on the chassis you go into 'Camo Spec' to find it. If you change the pattern or sell the mech, you lose the pattern permanently until you buy it again.

The patterns are also chassis-specific, as I recall. So buying the Phranken for the Atlas won't let you use it on a Centurion and so on.
