Hi, I suggest to make available a module that allows the user to teleport back to base. This would be very useful for defending against the base cap. It would also require co operative team play in that players with the module could agree when to teleport to assist each other in base defense. A single use or unlimited usage could be decided for best results. Nobody wants to wait at base to defend the inevitable sneak base attacks. This option would give the best of both situations and not every player would equip it on their mech. I dont know if this fits with the lore of the game, but I think we need a bit of flexibility in terms of being able to implement anything if it makes for a better gaming experience.

It doen't fit lore, wich is largely enough to make that impossible.
Apart from that, what would be the point in using lights if an Assault Mech can suddenly "appear" while you managed to outrun a whole team and go caping?
And what about people using it for escaping incoming missile or just avoiding confrontation at the end of a game?
And there is so much more to add...
It's totaly broken, sorry.

Everything ExtremWarrior said, unfortunately. Mechwarrior's supposed to be gritty and realistic (despite the fact we're all stomping around in completely unrealistic stompy robots).
Something that might fit the bill? If someone has a C3 module in their mech, they can call down an artillery strike or airstrike on base even if they aren't line-of-sight. That would still be keeping with lore.

Okay, not to be rude, but seriously, teleporting back to base? There are enough canon issues out there as it is, such as Stackpoling (google MechWarrior/Battletech and Stackpoling if you need an explanation) Good hunting

I believe the Point of a base cap was to give Lighter teams an opening to win against heavier teams.
If you are fielding six Atluses. three Highlanders, and three Cataphracts. You should stick near your base. The fact that you did not have enough time to get back to base just says you pushed forward too far. It was a tactical error.
Teleporting back to base is not only silly. It's something Magical. Like LoL.
Calling in arty on the very base you were supposed to defend is a bit silly in my opinion too. You were there to protect it. Calling in arty should destroy the base.
So I think that should lead us to another suggestion. Base Turret Defenses. Let a player equip a "Base Defense Module" and for each player that brings one, They can activate a small pulse laser at their base. The idea here is not to have the laser active and destroyable until the user turns it on. Otherwise every light will simply destroy these outright. The idea is to buy a few more seconds for the heavy team to return.
By letting the Turrets toggle on by the module allows a "surprise" effect, hopefully running off the light. The light would probably turn around outside the range of the Small Pulse Laser and destroy it. But that is the point. To give you a few more seconds to return. And even more time if there were 1 per Module user. Up to twelve (or six or four).

I cannot, in any way, shape, or form, find a way to believe this would be good for the game.

Teleporters don't fit in lore cause BT hasn't invented it yet maby sometime in the year 10K when BT gets enough brains to think outside the box.

What,Copying 'start trek' is thinking out side the box? Hell 'star trek' didn't even come up with the idea for teleportation, they got the idea from the movie 'forbidden Planet'.

This idea has some meat to it. I've played games that have this sort of feature, and it makes sence. but TOO MUCH is a problem. 12 small lasers? 1-hit KO easy. Maybe 4 at a time is better?
