the things we can do if we get together as a region can benefit all of us.
lots of corps mingling together there is no need for exclusive corp vs corp.

I'd just like to say how much fun the last few days has been. Oceanic companies are grouping up on a nightly basis to try and bring the fun back into 12 mans and the last 3 nights have brought truth to this.
The Peregrine Legionnaires and Forgotten 8th Legion are working to bring oceanic communities together for more casual 12 man play. We aren't playing these games to stroke our e-peen, these games are entirely casual play to promote enjoyment amongst all oceanic companies as well as lone wolfs who haven't found a home yet.
I find it dissappointing to see more and more units are using their own voice servers which basically alienates themselves from the wider community, sure if you want to practice your command then please do but these games we bring take skill to the next level. Whilst being casual all these games come down to the wire with most ending between 8-12, 11-12 and the game time approaching 15 minutes, pure tournament play in a light-hearted, friendly environment. This is what Mechwarrior is all about, tactical play to be enjoyed with others without taking itself too seriously.
So here is an open invitation to anybody playing in the oceanic timezone, we group up nightly kicking off festivites around 7pm Australian Eastern Time. Groups play a couple games before we do a draft pick to ensure both teams are as balanced as possible, then we have at eachother.
Festivites include Spider Hit Detection drinking game and random assortments of amusing images and videos.

It was a bit troublesome finding replacements but hopefully as word gets out this will pick up. I think we finally disbanded for the night some 4 hours later.

there are so many people and corps in the same server, i had to take 3 separate screen shots to get most of it in.
two 12v12 and a large group for scrambles these are happening right now during our afternoons (US evenings)
oceanic/asia region could do the same if we set our differences aside and got together.

Thanks for looking into it. Our different regiments are semi-autonomous, so I can't really speak for anyone outside of my own regiment (1st Skye Jaegers). I'm not sure exactly how organized the Tamar Cavaliers are at the moment, but hopefully one of them will respond to your forum post soon.

The Tamar Cavaliers Regiment[SRTC] is the home of the Australasian timezone Skye Rangers. We will be dropping into the Comstar server and getting to know you all soon. At the moment there is a small core of active MechWarriors in our ranks and as you can tell we are looking to grow.
Our Active times are (Australian east time) mostly, 7pm - 9pm thurdays, 3pm - 6pm Saturdays and 3pm -6pm sundays. In the future as our Regiment becomes stronger these times will too.
If you wish to join the Skye Rangers and fight for the glory of the Federation of Skye, or find out more about us our core MW:O recruitment thread can be found at: http://mwomercs.com/...gade-wants-you/ or go to http://www.skye-rangers.net/

Bear from the 256th. Yeah, we've had to move from the Comstar Server over to the MWO Casual Server on account of some of our players not being able to connect to the Comstar Server.
Yes, I probably wouldn't mind a 12 man now and than but as I've experienced it's a lot of cat herding.
Do miss the chatter on Comstar but until Helmer can figure out what's wrong with the connection I'm kinda stuck.
