It's a shame to loose contributions from so many people - dissatisfaction and burnout is taking its toll.

How crazy do you have to be to want less people in this game, anyway? It's not like this is a super popular game that is just overflowing with active players who are contributing to the community right now.

Ultimately, most Goons have very short attention spans in games with a few exceptions like Eve. They come, the sillier ones splurge a lot, then run way. There's usually a very capable hard core playing in a lot of games just less vocally though.

Unhappy with ghost heat and a few other things, Word of Lowtax quit MWO after their "#saveMWO" thread failed.

Goons get a bad rap for being in-game griefers. We're not all that bad however.
That being said, it's mostly the Goons' fault that knockdowns were taken out of the game.

I'm newish to the community. Complainers or in-game griefers?
A well deserved rap for in game griefers. Multiple times my lance would drop and there would be a lance on goons on each team that would emediately start team killing. Not to mention many other jerk off things

A few bad apples spoil the bunch sometimes but not all Goons are griefers. Not only that, but I've sene plenty of other people who are griefers and NOT a Goon.

I've heard of the reputation of Goods in this and other games, but I've never really seen it myself.

I never experienced the goons' antics in-game, but I've played with one of them a bit recently. I can tell you that the reports of their being jerks are grossly exaggerated (mostly anyway ). As I understand it, they had a particular agenda that didn't necessarily revolve around griefing per se, but more toward highlighting flaws in the game in hopes they would be addressed. I don't necessarily agree with their tactics, and they perhaps took a bit more pleasure in it than they should have, but I can certainly see where they were coming from.
