I already tweeted to Bryan if they still working on it but no retweet.
Tickedsupport was happy about my "nice tone" but just send me back into the forum.
Maybe we get something if the ask the devs comes back.
So everyone how want to see a nice catapult (not the old one... they wont give us the old one back) then this bulgy monster should ask for it in the the ask the devs.

I'm fine with the "extra pods" if you have an LRM boat (ie. they # of missiles you have greatly outnumber the tubes inside.
But if you have a 6 Streak A1, I find it hard to believe all 3 can't fit in one ear.
As well the pods outside the ears should no longer suffer from the missile door open delay.
The whole idea wasn't completely thought threw before implemented.

My C4 should look nor fire the way it currently does.

LRM5 Spam as you call it it comically easy to avoid. This also nerfed the steak-a-pult and the splat-a-pult as well as a few other builds that didn't need any sort of nerf.
ASRM18 should fit in the pod, the current setup has the SRM's far too spread out.

Apparently, the much larger missile pods for A1 and C1 came with some advantages as well, as it appears that all missile Catapults are now capable of launching single LRM20s in a single volley. Which was pretty much the sole forte of the C4 before, it's even more useless now.
Anyway, it looks bad and doesn't make any sense. The bigger missile pods are a direct downgrade both looks and mechanics-wise because of the increased hitbox size. I could easily live with huge LRM boats having extra ugliness strapped on, but the pods are so huge that there's no excuse why you couldn't fit for example 3x SSRM2 or 3x LRM5 in each of them.
Also, the removed side torso pieces from A1 and C4 ruin the looks of the otherwise beautiful torso.
