Normally I think letting old long posts die is a good thing. But this does need to be addressed and doesn't need to flood the forum.

A1 is as artistically ruined as most of the posts here suggest, also the hitbox thing feels unfair although I don't mind big guns having big barrels.

Please don't change the C1 back though, I like having 2LRM20s in one volley even if it means a slightly wider profile.

Personally, I'd love the option of having C1 sized boxes for my LRM15s, only getting the wide boxes with LRM20s. And having some sort of sensible solution for multiple smaller launchers.

And the old, heavy PPC barrels back.

Please.

I really don't mind the changes to the C1.

The problem is that I it ruins the variants with multiple missile hard points. I have done Quad L5's and Quad L10's and Paired L5/10's in my C4. I hate that I have these gaudy looking pods that increase the profile on the arms by over 25%. All you need to do is clip one pod with the new Meta (AC/5, PPC) and the 40 armour and it goes straight down to 10.

I have had many situations so far where my ears just shredded and I am rendered useless because my ear has a bump and apparently sticks out from behind cover, especially buildings.

The A1 is the worst off because it fires the weird 15/10/5 volley instead of 15/15 or 20/10 when you have 30 missiles in there. The hitbox can be nearly over 40% of what it use to be.

For me the problem is when I customize it where I want it to be and save it the game resets the weapon positions.

All the tubes MUST be used no matter how many hard points there are. My A1 Trollcat with 6 SSRM6's doesn't need EXTRA pods to fire 12 missiles.

If you have 6 LRM15 then by all means add the EXTRA missile pods. Not before the max of 15/20 is reached should the pods even think of being added on.

they could however change the profile of the launcher to suit the weapons equipped, slimmer, narrower e.t.c.

I do not like the change either... I would think the missiles could all fit in the box. Perhaps not though.,but my C4 always had the added packs to the side of the boxes with lrm and srm added in them :) Just looks ugly to me

Mr. herp derp toddler can't press the R button and find out exactly what the enemy has. smurfy needs to get rid of it's tube slots because it's totally irelevent now whether you're customisation will turn into interesting staggered fire or not. these changes bypass it. they should take the launcher door toggles off to since people can only recognise mechs by sight and can't press anything but the move forward and fire buttons.

and what's this meta lrm 5 boat? the screen shaker that's worthless in every other battle situation... a META!? :) no wonder we get lumped with ghost heat and 3pv when people quiver at chain fired lrm 5's.

You press 'R' and look at its loadout in the upper right corner of your HUD.

I pretty don't touch my Catapults barring the K2/Jester because of this.

And I fancy myself a Catapult Pilot.

Same, although I do pilot my founder's Cat only because it's set up with just 2 LRM15s.

But grr for punishing my beloved Cat... It's a real shame that I can't in good conscience use them for, well... catapulting LRMs at the unwashed 'Mechmasses.
