Poor catapult you can already easily hit its CT from any front or side angles it’s the easiest Mech to blow the cockpit out of and now if you decide you want to clip ones ears it’s even easier than before & you don’t even have to wait for target info to see if it’s got most of the weapon systems in there.

Speaking of the Trebuchet, it is the mech that may benefit to a degree from the missile hardpoint change (LRM15 max on many of the variants), but it is definitely going to suffer when adding all the proper energy hardpoints.
Another mech that stands to suffer is the Centurion, where the left torso will have to expand for the missile hardpoints. I've discussed about how the missile hardpoints dictate the most space on a mech... and now it's come to bear fruit...
"Artistic value" is PGI's priority over "Balance". Congrats I guess?

Quite honestly, it makes a certain amount of sense if people where actually using the missile pods how they are supposed to be used. But, alas, not everything is as wonderful as stomping through the aftermath of a battle with full salvage rights. Things will look ugly. I like it that way. On behalf of gameplay issues, it's a very minor issue since a good portion of the time you should be torso twisting unless you're playing by Zellbregin rules. But if your a cat focused on missiles and you're torso twisting, something horrible has happened or you're piloting a splat/streak cat. Now, if you would excuse me, I'll be escaping.
*Turns on Angel ECM and MASC in a Fire Moth Prime and runs away before getting ac/40'd.*
