If I have to suffer from hideous, large, silly external mounts on the cat's arms they, at the least, shouldn't suffer from the bay door delay. In fact, the mech should prioritize firing those first in chain fire so the bay door has time to open.

I present to you the ultimate A1 for this weapons graphics update;

CPLT-A1

OK. It has less armour than a Locust and Urbie pilots would laugh at how slow that thing is... but you still get to go nuts with missiles and now you even have Earz on your Earz (because Catapult pilots likez them earz).

This thread has a third as many views as a thread started in April of 2012. 14 pages in 2 days.

If they give two craps about what we want vs. what some artist wants then this will be changed.

And in all fairness. I haven't seen anyone who genuinely likes the bolt-on launchers or C4 boxes. (there were a few that suggested they did, but I suspect from their tone they were trolling) The response that I've seen has been overwhelmingly negative.

How hard is this? It's all perfectly described in cannon. There wasn't even anything wrong with it!

They implemented some bozo sheet that took a lot of effort that totally stinks.

PGI: Control Z and move on.

Cannon (like the ones Napoleon was so fond of) != canon. Know the difference, it could save your life. :)

Besides, canon tells you that Catapult only mounts an LRM-15. You can't put anything else in there... it's fixed.
Want 3 LRM-5s? Well, too bad, go ask for a new mech.

What I am most upset about is that the extra little ******** VCR missle boxes have from what I experienced and presume their own hitboxes and HP.

I've had them individually picked off and destroyed last evening.

DO NOT WANT.

I understand if I lose an "ear" and therefore all the weapons within that box but there is no reason why they should individually be able to be shot off.

Please do tell me finely educated Sir, which catapult variant had only a 6 tube launcher in the ears and nothing more?

Well they may respond to critical damage when the ears are hit, visually speaking, but if those launchers are hit it does arm damage. There is only one crit location (Rarm, Larm) for them to damage.

I'm not sure on this one. I've lost them individually. Multiple times last night while running a 6xSRM6+Artemis A1 Cat.

Running around, get into close brawl, and ONE of the boxes gets destroyed (not the whole arm). Keep running around and a SECOND box on that side also gets destroyed (Arm still intact!!) and I had one SRM6 left on that side.

This has NEVER happened before this geometry "fix", and I've been playing a long time.

Are the exterior boxes more vulnerable, IE not protected by the armor of the arm?? And still subject to the armored door open delay???

One would assume so. I'll try to video capture using my capture card and run some tests just to prove this, but I'm not kidding. They seem to individually take damage and can individually be destroyed. It's ridiculous.

I have to respectfully disagree with the hitbox statement, seeing as I've never experience losing a SINGLE SRM6 before off one of my "ears" in the almost year and a half playing this game so far. Not one single time to my memory.

Now I'm having them randomly blow up when I'm in brawls. Why is this happening? Again, I'll work on getting video proof of this over the weekend. I'll most likely be streaming tonight on Twitch for our gaming website, and I'll see if I can post the video of it when it happens.

MW:Living Legends, Mech Assault 1, 2 and MBT:3025 disagree.

The middle one proves that casuals love it without customisation, the other two are games that are basically regarded as the top of Mechwarrior games when it comes to multiplayer gameplay bar none.

And, could you, oh great and powerful, shining example of rational discussions, beater of non-modificants, beater of modificants, modeller extraordinaire, genius seer please tell me, where the heck have I mentioned ******* 6-tubed launchers?!

Well, the problem with the J is, the Hump shows both 10 tube launchers already and it has 2 missile hard points. But, I would love the 2nd pic though, lol. Mini Mauler.
