My favorite Jester build by far is this:
JESTER (MEAN MACHINE)
4 MPL
2 LPL
2 AMS (2T Ammo)
XL 300
8 DHS (for 1.16 heat efficiency, allows for two consecutive alpha strikes on normal maps and 1.5 alpha strikes on the hot ones)
That is 45.2 damage points worth of alpha ownage covered by 416 points of armor at 82.2 kph (with speed tweak).
Weapon Groups:
LMB: All three lasers on the left side
RMB: All three lasers on the right side
Group 3: just the 2 LPL in the arms for shooting targets below and above
Group 4: the 4 MPL in chain fire for when I am hot during a brawl
This loadout has proven to be a real beast (hence the name MEAN MACHINE).
It's a deadly scalpel great to be used as a striker that waits in cover until there are softened up targets to then rush in finish that target off and be gone again.
If you know the choke points of a map and are good with the moving out and in of cover quick it is also a great tool to soften up targets.
But the most hilarious thing is alphaing a light mech in the face that you catch unaware during a flanking move or that just thought it would be smart to stand behind you and shoot your legs. The last thing they see is that grin on your mech's face before they just pop.
In my view using the less heat intensive normal laser builds is just wasted potential in this chassis.
