Hi fellow mechwarriors,

as owner of all Pheonix mechs, there wont be much coming this year.
(Only 2 mediums until Feb 2014)

So I cant help but to dream of mechs I'd like to buy. *throwing cash at PGI*
Here is a list with mechs that came to mind, feel free to give me any additional ideas.

(I'd also like to advertise this crab/king crab thread)
http://mwomercs.com/...-an-appearance/

not sure how I missed this poll, until now, but you might as well remove all the unseen as Russ has said its extremely unlikely there will be more unseen added to the game for copyright and other legal blah, otherwise my choices would be very much different to the ones I picked.

warhammer pheonixhawk crusader would be part of my votes for a start

don't understand why the longbow is so popular, but its unseen, so much like the warhammer its a wasted vote, very sadly in the warhammers case :)

First,

No more Unseen.

Second, each has to have at least 3 timeline wise variants.

Third, you'd be better off grouping them by weight class.

I want my Banshee!

We need the 95 ton melee specialist of doom.

But only after they put collision back in and add physical attacks.

The Banshee really needs to be in the game since we have all the weight tonnage unlocked. This is the only mech overlooked in the Assault class. Once we have this mech, we might even see the Executioner (Gladiator).

Kinda got a Pokemon complex when it comes to mechs:
Archer, Marauder, Zeus, Banshee, Crusader, Phoenix Hawk, Warhammer, Wolfhound, Longbow, Hatchetman, Rifleman and Black Knight would be my favourites so far.
Chose 2x3:
Archer, Marauder, Banshee
Warhammer, Crusader and Rifleman

There, I fixed it for you. You posted some Blog`ish style picture of the marshmallow man instead of the lanky mistress of doom that our beloved Banshee is!

Scorpion does not have jets. And they've also said that CryEngine would have a cerebral hemorrhage trying to work with quads, so they aren't happening.

Marauder is unseen, we can't have it. Black Knight is a laser boat, which you may as well use an Awesome for, since they'll have the same broad torso.

LOLno it's not.

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Black_Knight

The Black Knight is a fast, well-armored, direct-fire, jack-of-all-trades 'mech that is a hybrid between Clan and I.S. tech. It's primary kit is fitted for energy, but it can also be fitted with ballistics. Not to mention it can be fitted with an ECM suite.

The awesome is slower, has a significantly WIDER torso, and only equipped with 15 tons of Durallex Standard Heavy armor, whereas the Black Knight is slimmer, faster, and equipped with 13 tons of Armor and an Endo-steel frame...

With that stated, why the F*CK would I want to pilot an Awesome instead of a Black Knight???

Compared to the Black Knight, the Awesome is [scrap].

LOL yes it is. Read your own damn link. Every variant boats nothing but energy hardpoints and no variants move faster than 64k. You're not playing MW4 now.

2 tons of armor is more than you might think, and the difference in speed is only 10k

LOL no it's not. The Black Knight predates the Clan arrival by centuries - it's an old SLDF mech.

Please dude, don't try to use Sarna to backup an arguement that you're making based solely on your experience playing MW4. You WILL fail.

LOL NO IT'S NOT. You're over-simplifying the Black Knight's role. Speed + armor + ecm + slugging potential gives the Black Knight a unique spot in the Heavy 'mech line-up if the Black Knight were to be added to the game.

2 tons of extra armor doesn't mean jack sh*t if it's easier to shoot. I would agree with you if the Awesome's silhouette wasn't so massive.

Plus, for heavy 'mechs, that is a pretty significant difference. Every kilometer matters when you're that heavy. It allows you to manuever and position yourself better. The awesome handles like a sack of bricks whereas the Black Knight (while it's not exactly a spider in terms of handling) handles significantly better then an awesome, has thick f*cking armor, can equip ECM, has an Endo-steel frame and is capable of firepower that rivals the Awesome.

I'll say it again: The Awesome is a joke compared to the Black Knight.

This runs off the assumption that I've ONLY played Mechwarrior 4 and that I'm basing my arguments off of my experience in Mechwarrior 4 (which is completely false).

Did I say my experience with Mechwarrior 4 was the end-all of the arguments against the Chassis? I don't f*cking think so. That's said, you may not want to do that either, skippy. Don't try to prattle off your limited experience in MWO. You will also fail.

Annihilator, Marauder (unseen lol) and Hatamoto-Chi. Apparently I had to vote for a 4th because all three options were in the first 'question' so I went with Hatchetman there (Not like we'll ever see melee combat of any kind, much less knockdowns again, but hey).

Wasn't the marauder re-seen though? Oh boy those terms are annoying. Could easily use one of the bounty hunter variants as a hero version as well. Ghost heat would potentially wreck the marauder unfortunately. I like how its stock build is almost exactly what the current meta is though.
