It's 2xLRM5, 2xMG, ERLL, AC10. There aren't a lot of variants for it. The first model doesn't reach full production until 3052. The second and third models come out in 3054 and 3056. It's a little out of timeline, but not much.
At any rate, you can replicate the load out on a SHD-2H easily enough, though weapon placement is a bit different. If you want, you could even cut something for jump jets.

None of which stand up to serious scrutiny.
The arguement boils down to this: Is the Black Knight an SLDF era laser boat, or is it something else? The answer is, it's an SLDF era laser boat. PGI has included ONLY canon variants for every mech they've introduced. If the Black Knight is introduced, it will likewise only have canon variants. RexSpecs insistence that in TT you can slap whatever you like on a mech holds no water, since we're not playing TT. RexSpecs insistence that the Black Knight is "a blend of Clan and IS tech" is erroneous according to canon sources, tho that exact line was used in MW4. Finally, RexSpecs insistance that throwing "errata" into the debate gives him an automatic win is head-up-arse behaviour, exactly what he was accusing others of and the hypocrisy that I mentioned, although apparently he thinks that being obtuse is something only other people do. The Black Knight we may or may not get in MWO will not be the omni-hardpoint toting monstrosity from MW4 but the laser-boat command mech from canon. That's not conjecture, thats not assumption, thats not head-up-arse, thats based on the fact that PGI only use canon variants for the mechs they introduce. "Errata" has no place in this arguement. RexSpec lost it from the beginning and instead of conceeding, turned the arguement 90 degrees and took it in a completely unwarranted direction.

It is when you are trying to translate a 'mech from one rule-set into another. That was my entire point. In that case, you have only the errata to go off of, which can lead to a disastrous or optimal interpretation of the 'mech on M.W.O. This is assuming, of course, that it will be released in the future, which may or may not be true. That has yet to be seen.

And if we do see it in MWO it will be with canon variants, as per every other mech in the game. As was pointed out. As was the initial debate until you took it off on an unrelated tangent.

Actually as one of the particpants here, it's entirely up to me to suggest what an unwarranted direction is. Turning a debate about how the Black Knight will appear in MWO into how it is presented in "errata" has undermined every point you've tried to make.
To sum up: this started as a debate about how the Black Knight would be presented in MWO. After it was pointed out that PGI only releases base 'mechs with canon variants, you tried to turn it towards being allowed to refit mechs under TT rules, as if that had any bearing at all. When you were called on that fact, you resorted to personal attacks (head-up-arse comment) and picking on spelling errors (what you hoped to achieve by that juvenile behaviour I have no idea).
You lost the arguement the moment you tried to change the subject, something you're still desperately trying to do.

Dude, just block him and be done with it. He's already not only doubled or tripled, but at this point at least quintupled down on the same bizarre "logic". Let him have the last word, for all the good screaming it at the walls will do him.

Who cares.
The way P.G.I. has been running the timeline, it has been strictly apocryphal. They turned back the clock by a year to justify the release of the clan 'mechs. It wouldn't surprise me if they fast-forwarded the clock to justify the release of other 'mechs.

PGI cares, as far as I can tell. They've been pretty picky about rolling out only tech and 'mechs that fit the current time period. They rolled back to the timeline so that the release of the Clan 'mechs would fit. If they didn't care at all about the timeline, I don't think they would've have rolled it back.
It's not impossible that they'll roll it forward again at some point, certainly, but at a guess I'd say it's not going to be for a while. After CW, I'd reckon. And from what we've been told, we'll be seeing plenty of other IS 'mechs by then.

The operative words are "a while." "A while" to P.G.I. may mean right after community warfare, a few months down the line, or (the least likely scenario) fifteen years from now. In the end, we can't crystal ball it.

I don't recall trying, which is why my post was full of "think", "reckon" and "guess". It's not an entirely un-educated guess, however, given the information we've had from PGI and 'mechs we've had released so far.
