Often times I find a jumpjet mech stuck on top of a building, cap point, jagged terrain or other obstacle. For some reason the game will not recharge the jump jet fuel bar because it thinks I am not on the ground. Just yesterday I got my SHD stuck on top of a building on river city and spent the rest of the round up there, unable to move or jump down.

Please! Make the jumpjets start fully charged after a power down/power up sequence. It won't affect any gameplay aspect but will allow stuck mechs with depleted jumpjet fuel to shut down, power up, and then jump jet away from the offending piece of terrain.

Iv gotten stuck like this in crimson straight and forest colony. Take a screenshot and submit a ticket so PGI can fix it.

The bright side is it gives you an opportunity to report and thin the ranks of the team treason players. Which are most likely the inflated ego Tkers also.

Good idea. I'll take a screenshot next time I get stuck, but I hope the devs consider implementing a power down/up jump jet recharge mechanic.

Woah a constructive suggestion from OP... don't see that everyday!

I don't see any way this could be exploited either...? DO IT!!

Hmmmm.. OP you maybe mistaken about something.
Often enough the reason we are stuck is because the mesh of our mechs has literally fused/hooked with an object or terrain mesh.
If you get stuck.. Don't NOT use up your jump jet fuel.

If you still have jump jet fuel you can still rotate your legs and try to kill anyone that is close by.
If you use up your jump jet fuel.. You are stuck in the position you are looking at.

Also you can also get stuck running into certain walls or slopes even without jumpjet.

That may be the case at times as well. Maybe at the time of pwr down and pwr up the game could raise the mech vertically a few pixels, at least you'd have a chance of getting unjammed after a few down/up sequences. In any case, a JJ recharge may restore some small amount of mobility which is better than having your legs welded to the top of an oil rig.

It's a great idea but it won't work, as ShinVector pointed out.

It's a bug in the engine basically and you cannot get free once stuck, no matter what you do. I got stuck with full JJ-fuel once or twice, tried jumping free, didn't work.

You cannot jump free, you cannot rotate free, you cannot be pushed free by others, you cannot be shot free, you're stuck.

Just report any such place to support and they hopefully get to fixing it in a coming patch.
