Today I got my first team kill with LRM's of all things.

While tooling about in my A1 today I got a perfect firing lock on a BM in plain sight at about 550m firing on a team mate. I opened up on him and pumped about 5 or 6 LRM15's x2 into him. It kills him but I have a flight of birds in the air when he dies.

One of the BJ Champion mechs they have on trial runs into the impact area stops and I watch what I can only assume is a new player bite the dust. I actually felt bad thinking it was a new player that just got greased. Hopefully he'll at least learn from it.

If you see multiple LRM's incoming into an area don't stop in it. Once LRM's are in flight I can't stop them.

Nah there is always a face hugger or two that absorbs team mate LRM's

This brings to mind a valid tactic: if you're involved with an enemy mech at a fairly shot distance and are getting pounded by missiles coming from BEHIND the enemy mech, FACEHUG! Lots of those missiles should hammer your opponent in the rear torso. Nothing more glorious than helping a missile boat take out one of their own.

It's not just LRMs you need to worry about. Was rolling in my Battlemaster, laying into an Atlas with some A/C and Laser fire, dropping SRMs on him when they were off cooldown. In the open in River City.

Teammate must have saw red, because my heat dropped low enough to Alpha, and the poor fool walked into to of them. Unfortunately, mine registered last and I got the TK for it

I for one cant wait for knockdowns to be back in, its very pleasing.. the feeling of sending your aggressors supportive LRMs down upon them as you dance back and forth in the face (kneecaps) of the crumpled and discarded death one step away.

As one of those players who often face hugs other mechs I can say that this is a rather large danger but one I choose to accept and if I happened to be damaged enough that a single lrm volley will kill me...well...I don't face hug.

Simple solution.
