What current laptops GPU are you using? What kind of setting andFPS are you getting?
I am pretty sure I will go with an Nvidia 700m or 700m series card. What type of computers are you running? Asus? Alien, Dell, etc???
What CPU are you running? I5,I7, etc.
Thanks for the help and Happy Huntings.

Core i7 w/ 32gig ram
2x 265gig SSD's
Radeon 7700 (I think).
Runs fine. Sniping w/ 15.4" screen kinda sucks -- but so do my eyes. I run med/high, but change the smoke effects. For what ever reason, those and shadows tax the card.

I use:
17 inch monitor
Nvidia 675M Graphics Card
Intel i7 3610-QM @ 2.3ghz
8GB Ram
I am able to play at 60FPS (low settings, but I would use low settings regardless because it gives advantages) and stream in HD at the same time without any issues, aka it does everything I want it to do, and it lets me get around. I move it from place to place within my house, to other people's houses, etc.

I have an MSI GE40 14" for school, has a 4th gen i7 with a GTX 760M and it can play MWO on medium at 60 fps.

Its got:
Nvidia 555M 3GB
Intel i7 3.3 GHz quadcore
8 GB DDR3
Does pretty well playing MWO but I haven't tried playing for extended periods so not sure if it will overheat while playing. Thats one of the biggest limitations with Laptops, they can have powerful specs, but then they can overheat rather easily. I would consider a cooling pad, but.. if I've got to carry all that kind of stuff, might as well bring the desktop.

They look fine spec-wise but the chassis is built in a way the GPU can't be cooled for more than 5 minutes if iz is running on 100% (which iz is on MWO most of the time). This leads to the laptop stepping down the GPU and CPU clock speeds to prevent a shut down and your FPS drop to the floor.
Furthermore the cooling is so bad you can't have the laptop on your lap becuase the air fan that sucks the air into the chassis is placed in the most stupid way.
I know this because I have one of these laptops (i7 8core, 8GB RAM, GT560M) and its unplayable even on the most ugliest settings.

FPS=10-15 on minimum settings
So it's good for LRM boats but not much else.
In closed beta I used to get a solid 20-30 fps on the same settings though which was great for my splattercent.

I run the game on an Alienware M18X-R2 with an i7-3920xm and dual GTX-680m video cards and using a 27in external monitor I'm getting 60 - 65 FPS at 1920 X 1080p.
Alienwares are pricey, but they do have the best warranty available (especially if you're in the United States. You can get performance on par with what I described from the Sager or MSI or Clevo laptops as well.

Why would you link to a Sager anywhere but the Sager site first?
https://www.sagernotebook.com/
They are running some nice deals right now, and there's a couple more customization options available vs. the 3rd party vendors.

I can go up to around $1,000 but would rather keep it around 400-600. I go out of town 4-5 times a year for a week or so.
4-600 won't really play MWO if you actually want to be able to hit targets and contribute to a game. That price range usually lacks a discreet GPU, which is essential for any sort of gaming.
For about $1000 you can get a middle-tier Sager from XoticPC.

Pretty much the same computer beyond size - GTX 765M and an i7 CPU will play the game at great frames with high settings. The 17" would have more options for expand-ability - ie adding more hard drives down the line.
