wow! Glad to see so many old zone players! I was there for a long time... daily... for hours... aliases... CM_Strider, GB_Strider, EX_Strider... Eventually became one of the best C1 (energy only) combatants on the zone and me and EX_Chicken (had an awesome chicken dance he preformed in the Strider mech, and also amazing c1er) and others of my clan terrorized the C1 community... and then when we got stuck in a C5 (projectile) match we loved to refit our C1 striders with 10-12 machine guns and bid hot maps and run around sawing the big mechs legs off... oh... the memories....

Played MW3 and MW4 and my Callsign was Bluefire, perhaps with MW as at present.
Remember only slightly about that login in the ms zone, but as you said, i did it quite a while on playing mechwarior.

Hailz ~S~ THe zone always had so many good memories playing mech reg games and a whole host of other leagues in mw3 mw4 with my units in those days CSD And TW GRIM I went at the start as just plain storm then evolved to Stormwolf when i joined with the remenants of CSD with TW and hope to see yall on the field Clan thunder wolf will greet you with Strenth and honour ... And a one shot light gauss round kill at range !

I played Mw3 in the zone. Went by Devil_Evilone_RA most of the time when I was there, as I was a recruit in the Devil guild.

I only remember being half-decent, though, and almost exclusively played Ice Maps as a Thor loaded to the teeth with UAC20s, or playing chicken hunt as a firefly. Man, I enjoyed that player-controlled gamemode. Good times.

Our tag was worse lol. We were right around 16 or 17. FFK = final fantasy knights. FFxSF = Final Fantasy Extreme (Special Forces) and from what I remember we encouraged members to pick names from Final Fantasy games LOL.

Earlier than those tags (15 or 16) we had something even more generic.
DR = Dragon clan
I was DRcc_roadK1LL and Squall was DR_KaiserDragon
Later in the history of the zone we noticed another DR squad running around but that wasn't us.

There was SO much drama in the zone and MW3 community that it was easy to stay entertained as a 16 yr old.

I used to play on the Zone.  MW3/MW3:PM/MW4 played for awhile under different clans/teams.   I remember winning a tournament on there once too lol.  I remember buzz lightbeer was the first to win a tourny on there I think.  Played in SL/VL/BZ/etc can't remember them all.  My team only lost 1 match in one of the SL seasons.  I think I remember something about PlanetFall or some planetary defense league.  I can't remember all the teams I played for but some included: CSG/DHG/DL/SA/KaoS/DDM?(some mercs team at the start of MW4)/ the list probably goes on.  I remember blortech HOLOCAUST and a few others that posted.   Nice to see all the old names.
