Same, i've been kicked in the coinpurse too many times from Origin and EA to give them another moments worth of thought.
So EA is selling Gold Khan Edition Mechs as well for $500.00.??? I see

Origin can be a pain, agreed... Weird though, I usually don't have an issue with it. Some do.

I have a couple friends who hate EA and won't touch anything developed\published they put their hands on and for good reason. Then I look at their gaming collection, some examples:
- Dead space franchise
- Dragon Age franchise
- FIFA games
- Mass Effect franchise
- Need for Speed franchise (although I preferred the earlier titles)
- Shogun franchise
- A couple of Sid Meyer games (although the new one... yea... not so much)
- The Sims franchise
- Ultima Online
I point this out, usually get a response of "oh well that's an exception" many times. Not saying they don't deserve the hate, pointing out some of the interesting "justifications" folks will come up with.
This partly applies to MW:o in that regards. The whole NO MORE MONEY. Well until an "exception" comes around. I still can't believe how many people bought into Project Phoenix. Not sure why there wasn't as big a NO MORE MONEY until there is more content! back then. It's not like anything's changed between now and then content wise or any deadlines being met other then a very brief time of PGI actually communicating. Heck, the CW presentation was solid proof that it was still on the drawing board.

Madden (Which may be coming to a close soon actually)
NCAA Football
Battlefield
Once in a while I'll pick up a Need for Speed (Seriously considering the latest release)
Other than that? EA can suck my butt

On one hand, they did publish many games/franchises I love.
On the other hand, they utterly destroyed some others (i think every game in the Command & Conquer franchise after 3 was just... wrong. I really enjoyed westwood studios before they were acquired).
The worst they did though is killing Multi Player Battletech 3025 ...
Still, i think I'll go for Titan fall as the game is looking pretty fun and polished even if a bit too arcardish for my taste.

For a Quaker/UT guy like me Titanfall is amusing and somewhat attractive but since it's from EA, it's on auto-NO. Since they screwed up every other game they acquired since Westwood.

Film grain is killing the graphics. The game looked SO SO SO much better in closed beta when there was no film grain. If I wanted the graphics to look like I was playing the game on a CRT monitor from 1990, then I would have kept my old 19" 40lbs beast.

Origin is pretty dumb, yeah, but people overreact to it. Unlike Steam, I won't allow it to boot with my computer, but the extra 20 seconds of loading it when I want to play an EA game is hardly painful.
Don't worry, it's dying anyway, EA's already slowly moving back to Steam. They'll probably strip it out of all their games this time next year.

It's to bad because they publish Battlefield, bought the rights for Star Wars from Disney (one evil empire supporting another), and ruined Biorware.

If the Wiki is to be believed, FASA had a hand in development. I am not really sure about that one, but maybe *shrug*. Still, Sierra Online's answer to Mechwarrior. Not a bad game, pretty fun.

I also REALLY liked Shogo. I think Shogo is definently one of the great "Mech" games made. Really cool for it's time. It had a mix of mech and on-foot play. As you can tell, very Anime inspired.

Because it's not needed. It's clearly a 1PV game, so saying that is making it unnecessarily wordy.
Oh... I thought they did it right after they added 3PV, so they removed 1PV game description because MWO is not a 1PV only anymore.

Common misconception, but what they added was a personal mech drone, and the view is 1PV from the drone. You can even see it launch/recover when you switch to the drone view.

No, it's a third person view.
That's why it looks the same as the view from games called "Third Person Shooters".
Saying, "It's just the first person view from a different camera!" is totally idiotic, because THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF A THIRD PERSON VIEW.

It all depends on your point of view, doesn't it?
