In MW2: Mercs they had a mission set on a giant block of ice being shipped to a desert planet from the outer edge of the system that you had to defend against pirate raiders. It was great fun. I'd love to see a space-based map set on the surface of a small asteroid or a giant ship/space station, or a massive ice block or something. It seems unlikely, though, as they'd really have to mess with JJ behavior and ballistic weapon drop and so on to really sell the environment.
More likely would be Urban Center, set in a heavily-built city zone with lots of sky-scrapers mixed with lower-height buildings that you can jump on/over, maybe with a park in the middle of it.
Also, Fortress. It'd be a system of entrenchments, walls, enbankments, and bunkers that would really advantage JJs for surface maneuvering, but would also have extensive tunnel systems connecting the different parts of the map. At the center could be a citadel with heavy walls with firing platforms that you can use JJs or take ramps to set up on. The wall would have firing ports spaced around so that you would be able to fire from it without poptarting or using Jagers and BJs. The teams would spawn to either side of the fortress, forcing both teams to navigate the fortifications while trying to take the citadel and find the enemy team.
Finally, Thunder Rift. This would have lots of waterfalls, ice canyons and tunnels, several deep waterways, and plenty of ambient noise and seismic events. It'd be a great call-back to the novels and would be a much more interesting take on an icey map with caves, tunnels, and caverns.
