The hit indicator needs some work. Currently when you hit someone your crosshair goes red and slowly dims out into regular yellow. IMO it should be a flash of read when your weapons hits and immediately goes back to yellow (the obvious exception is lasers and TAG). I think most of us would welcome the responsiveness.

The HUD needs to change color as current yellow is hard to read in the current environment.

All HUD elements need to be customizable. Shape, size, color, line thickness, positioning, all of it.

I think they should have old Batman TV show style notifications when you hit a target.

I would prefer the doll armor start at green and shift though yellow to red. Currently the orange to yellow to red is wonky.

But it has the downside of freezing your screen for a couple seconds....

UI needs a major overhual, especially for compass markers. However from what I've seen UI 2.0 only address issues in the MechBay...
