RVN-3L: 2xER LL
KTO-18: streaker light killer
SHD-2D2: 2ML AC20
CPLT-K2: 2xER LL guass or 2x Ac2 2xER LL
Jester: 4xER LL
Orion: AC20 ML 2xER LL
Muromets: 2x guass 3 ML(my bread and butter mech and most boring because its too easy to play)
Boars Head: 4xML 2xER LL AC20
DDC: 2ML 3xSRM6 AC20

It's the best build I have had for it.
I hang around the middle, shooting over or around the bigger mechs with my LRMs, using part of the chassis zombie potential to cover them when they are vulnerable.....
The generic build for it was too.... 2 dimensional for me.

Having said that I am usually at a very very low ELO level - the generic green mechs are a low priority target because the "new" players are usually more skilled than the painted mechs.

Well, honestly, I don't do too well with Centurions these days, so it could just be me. But I've stopped using LRM5s because they're so easily nullified by AMS. And I'm very bad at hitting light mechs repeatedly at close range with ballistics, so with your build, I would basically only have 2 torso mounted medium lasers to defend myself from light mechs.

My best Centurion used to be the XL300 YLW with Gauss + ER large laser. That build is now obsolete due to gauss charge. My second best Centurion used to be the CN9-AL with 2 LPL and 2 Medium lasers. That is now obsolete due to the LPL nerf.

Never ran more than 1 LPL on my AL....
Absolute pain trying to find the tonnage for more without mounting an XL... and the D is the only one I do that on.

The LRM5 work like a 15 if you alpha them, or chain fire for more frustrated enemies without the AMS.

My mouse has 4 buttons so I can do that easily (1 for main gun, 2ns for CT-Lasers, 3 and 4 for chain fire and alpha missiles)
I would share my other cent builds if you like... but they are all about the same theme as the above, but with slightly different loadouts (no B slots on the AL after all )

I only run like 6 mechs and they are all pretty much where I want them- jagger DD, kintaro -18, dragon flame, raven 3L, jester, stalker 5m

Firebrand 2xAC20, the Cbill maker.
JM6 DD, 3AC2, 3MG. The suppressive-sniping-high sustained dps lol machine. Easy to do high scores with that (i mean around 800dmg).
JM6DD, 6MG 2Large Pulse, standard 315 (max). Not efficient but hell fun and resilient.

Yes I have all Jags and 2 DD's ^ ^.

I have also 39 Mechs... Most of them are just "meh" or too nerfed at the moment (laser boats/ghost heat, SRMs/hit detection).

I am expecting a balistic nerf so... i'll probably change my mind when it will come and sell some Jags

i've been using my cn9-a since i 1st started wayyyy back in closed beta right when they let the founders have access and i still use it (its my go to mech) but i would have to say once i finished my jagers i sold em off and haven;t really missed em, save for my DD with its 2xac10's 2 med lasers and its 4 mgs that was a fun build
