After searching high and low for my ultimate favorite mech and build I came across this little gem called the VOKTOR 9B. This mech build may not suit everyones playstyle. My playstyle is hybrid all the way. I hate being in a mech that can't damage an opponent because of lack of the right firepower. I have never posted a spec on here but this one I had to share and this spec I call the Black Knight. Why the Black Knight? Because only Batman can afford the 340XL that I slapped in this big guy.
Top speed 68 without the ELITE skill
Structure & engine
Engine 340xl
12 double heatsyncs
Endo Steel Structure
4 jump jets
Weapons
2 med lasers
3 ac 2 cannons
1 LRM 15
1 STREAK SRM2
4 AC2 ammo packs
2 LRM packs
1 streak ammo pack
1 case or add ammo you like
Max armor
Since the AC2 can do long range I suggest advanced zoom mod on this. I use the AC2 for close range and if any doubts their ability at close range try it. You will be impressed. However the 2 med lasers and the streak work wonders on light mechs. Save the AC2 for the bigger mechs in my opnion. If you like a good Hybrid build try this and you will not be disapointed.

There is a mech called the Black Knight;

Couldn't be more different than your build.

Tried triple ac2, its terrible. Take a double ac5 over it any day, less hot and more damage. Also, use that next time: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/

Calls a mech "Black Knight".
Doesn't intend a Monthy Python reference.
On topic: Your build looks too hot, even if you were to take off the LRM, the SSRM and the 2 medium lasers. Your lack of high alpha strike damage makes me wonder why you have 4 jump jets instead of 1 or 2.

Try an AC/10+2 AC/2s sometime. Close, far, doesn't matter. It wrecks everything. No need to waste tonnage and crit space on LRMs, SRMs, or streaks.

I run my Battlemaster with 3AC2, 4ML and 15 DHS (27 effective SHS) and just firing the ACs is so hot, that the MLs are mostly used for lights, last-ditch alphas and when my AC arm is blocked by terrain.
Running triple AC2 with less than 23 effective SHS leaves you with lacking staying power. If you want to stay with the triple AC2 you need both more heat sinks and more ammo. Removing the LRM15 could free up the tonnage, because for direct fire your heat sinks are already taxed with just the ACs and a single LRM15 is pretty ineffective in terms of indirect fire. Alternatively you can replace one of the AC2s with a larger AC for heat efficiency, again by sacrificing the LRMs.
And lastly, as already mentioned, the name Black Knight is already associated with a certain energy boat. I personally prefer the BL-12-KNT.

I agree, you need more than 4 tonnes of AC/2 ammo. The DPS is excellent though. 5 hits (< 5 secs) and you've done 32 damage.
