seriously, how much talent does one have to lack to pilot this mech. it was given ecm...why...i don't effing know, you can't hit it any way. to counter this, we were given the locust. what a fine piece of 20 ton she-ite this is. no armor, no weapons.... and ohh yea, no engine. cant put anything bigger than a 190...are you kidding me? i have to waste 3 of its useless 20 tons to equip heatsinks. great job devs. no more smoking weed at the drawing table. pheonix mech my ***.

You can hit a spider, its just extremely difficult due their hotboxes (wich will hopefully fixed next week) and bad hitreg.
At least I have no big issues with the Spider itself but with ligh mechs overall, sometimes even mediums.
Locusts aren't made to counter spiders, or, do high damage at all.

Piloting a Locust the same way you do a spider will most likely end badly.

If I'm reading it correctly, he's saying that Spiders are easymode and unhittable, and that the Locust was supposedly added to counter the Spider and failed at that task.

What the OP doesn't realize is that the Locust was never intended to counter anything other than the sanity and self-respect of the pilot inside of its cockpit.

My Spider 5k is crazy in the fact it thinks it is an UrbanMech. Now this build take skill not to get creamed in.

Basically, Spiders are broken. We all know it, some defend it, some cry, some yell. Devs cant fix it, yet keep the broken mech in game. We just have to suck it up. Close thread.

Yesterday in Mordor, Spider with tryed to kill me while i was in HGN 732 with AC10 + 2 PPC, he was smart enough to stay under 90 meters but was overconfident and died and had to flood chat with tears of how game sucks.

Aim for the legs is all i can say if you have trouble with Spiders, it take some practice but still better than no hit registration.

They won't be. The problem is hit detection, not the spider's hitboxes.
