If you could pick one of each type of weapon (Energy,Missile,Ballistic) what weapons would you like integrated into MWO next and why?

1.) Energy, Bombast Laser (Brand new mechanic could be fun and add some life to the energy class of weapons.)

2.)Missile, Streak SRM-6 (Get the balancing of these out of the way before the clans arrive)

3.)Ballistic LB 20-X AC (I like the shotgun type weapons)

Bombast laser, stupid weapon, we get it in 3064

Streak SRMS 4 and 6 and LB -2/5/20-X ACs come in 3058

Well, not actually using lore time as a reference (PGI isn't):

Energy: x-pulse lasers, curious as to what the stats on those would be.

Missile: MRM's

Ballistic: rotary ac2/ac5

Bombast OMG... we have it already its called a Gauss cannon in this version. Everything else you mention many years down the road and they should get PPC's to work right first.

I belive PGU adds weapons according to timeline of Battetech lore .

We can expect clan teach with CW

Without regard for timeline issues:

Energy - ERM and ERS Lasers.

Ballistic - Special ammunition types for standard ACs and slug ammo for LBX-ACs.

Missile - Inferno SRMs.

Within the timeline I'm still waiting for Arrow IV. There's as yet unreleased equipment that's era appropriate. MASC should be coming soon, and TSM just wouldn't really do anything within the context of this game. C3 maybe?

I just want an alternative to the machine gun for ballistic hardpoints on lights and mediums.

HMG would be rather nice...2 DPS though only 80M range, if they keep the same stats when compared to an MG.

RACs and MRMs would be my second choice. Not too sure about energy.

1: Binary Laser Heavy/Light/Snub PPCs and more variance between PPC types
2: MRMs
3: Light ACs, for more Light 'Mech weapon variety. LBX series is a close second.

Don't really see how they are the same, one is a scalable damage energy weapon with no ammo and the shots should be instant on target like a laser. Plus a spartan laser type weapon in this game would look amazing.

How many years would we have to wait for the game time to advance to get new weapons? I like mwo and all but sooner than 10 years would be nice.

I would choose Advanced Tactical Missile launchers.

One launcher that can launch:
Extra-long-range missiles (810 meter range, 1 damage per missile)
Medium-range missiles (450 meter range, 2 damage per missile)
Extra-powerful short-range missiles (270 meter range, 3 damage per missile)

Plus, it has Artemis IV FCS built in. Clan-only though.

I would kinda like to see the Rifle weapons. Light medium and Heavy To add a little more variety to the ballistic loadouts on lighter mechs.

Other than that. I want to see the special ammunition types.

I doubt we will see LBX slug ammo because that will make standard ACs utterly inferior. They should make lbx actually work properly though (Mechwarrior 3 anyone?)

The current weapons:
but with differences - at least 3,4 weapons of each kind
for example:
Lords Light PPC -> reduced damage and heat, but increase of range and rate of fire (only for the K2 and Dragon)
Kreuss PPC -> reduction of range and minimum range, more damage and heat but reduced rate of fire (found only on the Awesome)
...
would be great to have a kind of dispersion / accuracy value for more diversity
...
