I would prefer not having MW:O in the present state, than having just a generic (but horribly imbalanced, lol) FPS game that prevents other teams making a Battletech/MW game, yes.

MWLL would still be having updates if it weren't for PGI.

I don't like the way we had to leave development on that last patch either, and many players felt the same> Making concessions for developers work at the expense of the project imo is what really hurt that last patch. ^_^

So exactly like he said nothing, or at least nothing I or many other people wanted to play. You can yabber on about how PGI killed MWLL, but based on the number of people playing that lame mod, it was more put it out of it's misery. LOL many players? Talk about a fantasy island.
I've said it before, none of the many blunders made by IGP/PGI reflect back on the IP itself, they reflect back on a company who bit off more than they could chew and are choking on it. People still want to play MW/BT games, just not one made by these mooks. The IP will survive MWO, PGI hopefully not.

Have some Founder Cake?

Actually, things were going

great until they let in the

freeloaders who QQed

about it being a 'shooter'

but too complicated for their

console controller hands to

figure out.

And all along I thought things went downhill when the freeloading rabble were let in and gained a voice. Silly me.

We helped provide funding to give this game a jump start and we are being... chastised? I am confused. Where is the quality qq?

The problem wasn't the Founders, development money was needed and the only other MW title was Mechwarrior Living Legends which PGI forcibly shut down and ruined what was becoming a really good game to play as MODs go. PGI decided to make it a generic game for the masses rather then a MW game for MW fans.

Really? Really?! You are going with that excuse? Both sides have said PGI had nothing to do with MW:LL ceasing development. Did you even read the last dev statement on the MW:LL site?

The 50 people who played MW:LL were SUPER upset about that, weren't they?

Guess what: MW:LL isn't shut down, and you can still go and play it. So what the **** is your point? You just wanted a place to whine?

Welcome to K-town. You'll fit in nicely here.
