Why isnt Speed Tweak and Fast Fire available for two of my three Locust in pilot tree..?

They are greyed out, not available it seems. The other two elite skills are working, but not ST & FF for the 3M and 3S.

For the 1V i have all four elite skills, no problem there.

Have you got 6000 XP on that mech? They stay grey until you have enough XP to unlock them.

If you have between 4000 and 6000, this is what it will look like.

Also, FYI, Fast Fire and Pinpoint currently do nothing. Get Speed Tweak and Quick Ignition first.

Ill try and get xp for them asap ^_^

I unlocked pinpoint and Quick ignition for the 3S but the other two are still grey there (but out of mech xp for now, will let you know when i have more)

I just thinkt it is strange that its not the same for all three mechs..??

(I wrote pilot tree, i meant Mech tree, sry)

You have to earn XP on each individually.

I think someone's been spending his GXP. In the future I advise that you do not spend it on the mech.

Use your Mech XP instead. GXP is required to unlock modules under PIlot Trees.

Mech XP can only be used on your mech and is easy to get. GXP works for your pilot "gaining knowledge" on how to get and install modules as well as your mech, but is very very difficult to acquire.

Also, you realize you have to unlock them, right? Being lit up doesn't mean they're active, just available.

Each variant tracks Mech XP separately.

Also, especially for Locusts and other lights but a good idea in general, save up for Speed Tweak first, as it's a huge performance boost even for trundling assaults.

All skills are bought seperately for all mechs.

If you do not have sufficient Mech XP on that specific mech (or insufficient GXP in your GXP pool) a skill will not be available for purchase.

Keep earning that XP, you'll get there eventually ^_^

Imagine it like this. You've got 3 Corvettes. Each made in a different year. They're identical on paper but in your hands you'll notice each has its own personality and is a bit different.

Locusts aside from weapons handle the same way. But try Hunchbacks, Awesomes, Ravens or Kintaros. A Raven 3-L and a Raven 4X are nothing alike. Same goes for the Raven 2x and the 4x even though on paper they're almost identical.

You're developing experience for each as a way of simulating you "learning how to use them." The skill unlocks are supposed to be you "tweaking" them to your personal tastes... even though that personal taste is identical to everyone else's.

There's a skill revamp coming. I'm hoping it offers more diversity and choices.

Well, i know how it works, i have taken Atlas and Cat to "Master" before but i have never seen only half of the "Elite" skills grey (ST and FF) and half yellowgrenish as usual (Quick ignition and Pinpoint) before, after unlocking all the basic skills. Only for the Locust.

But i guess/hope i will be able to Unlock them too when i get the XP....?

No offense was meant. Wasn't sure what your experience level was. Did you previously have a pile of GXP that you've now spent on modules? They'll be lit up if you have GXP enough to unlock them, too. But I agree with Kon, it's a lousy use of GXP.
