About what? It didn't mention bap at all in the patch notes.
Have you seen otherwise or just opening mouth?
Otherwise bap deserves a bonus cut too.

He means that it does count, and does work and gets the bonus. You need to block ECM for 5 seconds to get the bonus.

Yup, I can confirm. BAP gets those bonuses too. 
Makes me wonder if chained PPC usage does the same.

You do receive C-Bill + XP bonus for countering ECM with a BAP.
