Got surprized by the patch and hit a skill wall?



That patch took out the eaysmode from your treadmill?

Well i didnt experience the same thing at all. I jumped in it, a few times, and after playing the locusts mostly.
I got so surprised what an easy mode it is compare to it. All the time i made 400 + in the spider so no. I would say it still need tuning they still more durable than any other light mech.
But at least i can kill them now not like before. Like the AC 20s wont register in 70 % of the time So i stopped shooting them entirely it was pointless any way.

Well the same topic only another Mech (not the Raven 3L)

And of course its not the problem of the players - its the problem of game design - when using ultra precise weapons and mouse aiming.

As soon after the patch was out, I have picked the RT of a spider 4 times with an AC 10, only the first opening ppc+AC10 shot didn't registered, the remaining 3 entered all where they supposed to go. Sweet.ù

HSR still misses a fair amount of hits, but they definitely have lost their "I'm invincible" issues.

Reminds me of how the popularity of the Raven 3L dropped off when they adjusted the hitboxes and first implemented HSR, making them reliably hittable for the first time.

3L trolls cried, and then quit the game or moved on to the next FOTM.

Agreed, this thread is a riot to go through

Although I haven't noticed the Spider hit detection changing THAT much post patch, I think it is funny that anyone is trying to get ANY amount of sympathy from the community after all of the hate the Spider has garnered (especially when the chages appear to be small).

I just wish I had something funny to contribute

I've seen a number of spiders commit suicide today because they ran straight without trying to dodge and obviously not having read the changes.

Hit registration is better but not yet perfect.

Awwww, the little Spider is NOT TOTALLY BROKEN anymore and some people aren't so good anymore, oh sorry, the mech is no good anymore. Tough luck. You won't get any sympathy even from fellow light pilots because they know how hard it is to learn to pilot a light mech.

Spider was easymode, a crutch, now spider pilots will have to learn to play as the rest of the light pilots. Good Spider pilots will still kick *** in this little mech. Bad Spider pilots will have to learn to play finally. It's that simple and I like it.
