Max group size in the "normal" queue is 4. You can not drop as a 5-8 man group in the normal queue so I do not see the relevance of your question.

Sync drops happen, but I don't have an issue when facing a more coordinated team.

And folks like you need to stop assuming. 3 damage could easily be due to getting ambushed by multiple enemy from behind! ;)

I avoid laughing a other's or their game play. I only worry about how I did, unless I see a team mate do outstanding, then I have something nice to say... Guess not everybody was taught that lesson. ;)

I added the damage totals together for each team.

The underweight team did over 1000 damage more than the heavier team.

And still lost. Yeah, that's fair.

Then how am I seeing groups of six dropping together? Are they very lucky sync dropping?

I dunno. Can you provide some evidence of people forming a group of 6 and then dropping into the normal queue? A video of you and 5 friends all forming a single group and then dropping into a game together successfully would do nicely.

That wouldn't be me in the team. I PUG, but when I see 6-7 guys all with the same house insignia and all keeping together the whole match, I'm assuming they're pre-made. Yes, I assumed.

Could very well be a frequent coincidence.

The MM from closed beta was 5x better than what we deal with now. We see as much rolling now as we ever did before, and we get really F'ed up imbalanced matching to help it along.

That's funny... but so so sad cause its true.

The matchmaker from closed beta, oddly enough, had no match making. You could do 8 assaults versus 8 lights. But because of this we had much more dynamic battlefields. Also not that many people ran assaults because most of the time you got more debt than cash. It was actually difficult to run some heavies for a little while without resorting to the bad-end builds.

Sounds fair to me. Simply dealing damage isn't as effective as dealing accurate damage.

It's also possible they were all on the same TS server and sync dropped. Then anyone who wound up in the same drop joins the same channel and off ya go.

Or maybe they just decided to practice House loyalty and stick together. Focus fire just requires common sense and teamwork, not comms.

We're getting another UI 2.0 test next week and there is a video developer update that's coming shortly. We'll probably get a more firm idea of their development plans then.

Really? A developer VIDEO??!???? Containing development PLANS???!??? Beyond "keep making hero mechs"??!!?
