I kinda agree. Would have liked to switch one (FRR to Kurita) but I am still good with it. Picked Davion, Steiner, FRR, Marik. I don't see why they can't switch it on their end with account tools.

They probably CAN, but won't to avoid abuse.

I can see if Loyalty was in play, but it's not currently. Nothing to abuse yet :)

You owe me a Phoenix Badge but you have my full blessing to focus exclusively on completing UI 2.0.

Good decision.

I agree that without some semblance of an attempt to keep the IP moving forward that it has and will continue to stale and lose it's core base. Please don't think that new players will make up for the loss of of such.

Who exactly is the core?

Interesting, we buy something which was announced with the release of the phoenix package and now with UI 2.0 release.

And yeah the Cammo was unique for those who buy the phoenix package...

Great when i bought a car the car dealer said after i give him my money "sorry about the paint but it´s delivered later"...

Huh? It's an in game badge, barely even noticeable. Has nothing to do with the camo or a cars paint job.

I would have taken 4 Liao medals instead of Liao, Kurita, Marik and FRR. Well, I'll just tell my fictional kids that I took the other medals from fallen foes.

Lies. It's far too important to have the better shinies than the other pilots.

It's the concept of it. Paying for a set of items and being given just a little bit less... by a business that has a history of promising things to be done 'soon' that generally turn out pretty hollow promises.

Comparing a barely visible badge that shows for 25 seconds or so to a paint job on a car that is the primary visual aspect of it to 95% of viewers is a pretty over dramatic comparison. I understand a little disappointment, which is why I posted at the start of this thread regarding that, but it is just a minuscule in game badge - it's not like you didn't get one of your mechs or the camo and colors. A better comparison would be buying a car and getting upset because the bobblehead that came with it is on back order...

Now that you mention it, they also reneged on the exclusive cammo pattern being exclusive and changed the wording a few days before the mechs came out.

Extra image in case someone missed it the first time:

Seems after they grabbed their dictionaries and realized that exclusive meant exclusive they changed it to "Flame 'Hot Rod' Pattern'.

I have previously stated that I will not make further purchases until my current purchases are fulfilled.

Detail or not, this most certainly includes the badge. ESPECIALLY with the level of communication we have received regarding it. It`S not like we started asking this question last week, we started last month...

While I thank you and PGI for finally stating something "tangible" in this regard, the added implication of an as-yet undetermined wait time for UI 2.0 is a complete deal breaker for both a saber package and a Black Friday early christmas present to myself and actually has me starting to wish I had not purchased the overlord package, something that I have been very vocal about enjoying and NOT regretting in the least.

But that was when I felt that my trust was not being betrayed and that I was not being led on.

Seriously, I still love the game and want it to succeed. But this post definitively closed my wallet until at least UI 2.0, solely for the lack of communication preceding it and the finality of it`s statements, with no way for those affected to influence it in any way save posting about their disappointment or leaving the game. It`S not that I don`T understand teh reasons, I actually expected that to be the cause tbh. But I also expect more timely communication when I ask someone that owes me something what`s going on, not "runaraound, runaround, oh, ****, sorry, I`ll get it to you SoonTM".

Not good at all. Unless UI 2.0 is now PGIs sole purpose in life so as to get some of this stuff out of the way ASAP.

PGI reminds me so much of the US government. Say one thing, do another. All the while ignoring the people that contribute and catering to cry babies

Actually, my phoenix camo looks a lot less like the advertised images ( http://mwomercs.com/phoenix ) than I think is cool. Don't get me started on scale. It's not about whether or not it's a "big deal." Painting the mechs nicer than the one's you get, fudging their advertised scale in relation to each other. Withholding product you agreed to deliver... I'm not saying they set out to do it this way, but taken together these are the acts of a shady used-car dealer.

This isn't about trolling or not liking something about the game so now I b*tch about everything. It isn't even about computer gaming at all. It's about why we tell our kids not to lie. It's about the idea of an agreement meaning something.

I paid money for something. You have all of my money. I don't have all of the something. It's a bad way to do business, PGI. This 2.0 better be worth it; you're turning people off.

In A Podcast Bryan said latest UI2.0 would appear is December but you know....take that with a grain of salt.

Considering how terrible it was on the test server the other day, they shouldn't even be trying to get it out in December.

As long as people are still paying cash for MC and other special sales (ie. mech bundles) then PGI has no real incentive to listen to what the players want...

Once the player base demonstrates that our wallets are shut until we get the content that was initially marketed, then PGI will get serious about delivering the marketed content. Once their very livelihoods(i.e. jobs) are on the line, then they will respond.

Until then, cry more tears, or wise up and stop spending your dimes until they deliver.

ps. it is not personal... it is business.

Semi-related question, since it's a Phoenix mech, but I Mastered my Battlemaster over the weekend (hahahaa), but it remained at two module slots. Problem?

i had the same problem, just quit and run the game again and you will get the right ammount of module slots :)
