A few people already mentioned Bred For War in this thread, but this quote about Larry Acuff on the DropShip returning him to his home planet struck me as interesting when I re-read it a month or so back:

On a not BT/MW related quote, I relay this much shorter one from the USS ARIZONA Memorial in Pearl Harbor:

There are other good quotes in the series. I've always been partial to Phelan Kell/Ward's, "In the battle of nature vs. nurture, I'd say nature's up one nothing" (or something to that effect).

That said Jerome Blake quotes are something of a soft target, as its frequently pointed out that less refined/knowledgeable ComStar/Blakist Acolytes and Adepts will almost blindly assume if a quote is memorable that the Blessed Blake would have said it and attribute it to him. the Information is ammunition one is probably the most chuckle worthy example of this

And a beautiful non-Blake quote:

Not enough quotes from Mechwarrior 3. That game had some great lines:

In fact I loved his origion story in the Battle Corps book..the Destiny's Call short story littered with quotes most of which were from long dead philosiphers but spoken through our well known general.

"No power is absolute, only corruption."

"No one wins a fight." quote is always a fav too as he's always seen as this outstanding kickbutt general yet the story shows him in an entirely diffrent way, especially constiering the clan culture that evolved behind his decesions.

It was one of the few battletech stories that made me tear up alittle...or i'm weird. lol.
