"A Self-Imposed Challenge is a playthrough of a game wherein the player plays under a restriction
not required by the game itself in an attempt to increase the difficulty."- TvTropes

Post your idea of a self-imposed challenge here. Here's a few to get this started, including some classics.

-Use thermal vision on Terra Therma at night with max brightness.
-Strip off all leg armor on your Atlas and see how long it takes to get legged.
-Remove all rear armor and survive a match.
-Play with gamma and brightness set to 0.0 or 1.0 Bonus points for the sun shining at the monitor in the former case.
-Play on max settings, get a kill and live. Bonus points if the framerate gets choppy.
-Play with the sound muted
-Invert mouse Y-axis, throttle decay and third person only. Perfect for people not used to this.
-Play without sitting on anything.

Welcome newcomer. I have been piloting an Awesome since closed beta. It's not what it once was, but it's still a far cry from easymode.

Play games with the old hud bug - there was sometimes a single pixel in the center of the screen you could use to aim.

Do well in the Awesome.

Kill something whilst pretending to be AFK.

I used to try and get kills /stay alive back with the 'yellow screen bug'. Had some fun matches where I'd stay and defend the base and kill light cappers

My alt laptop is lucky to get 7-10 fps on the current patch. I usually consider any direct fire kills on that machine to be an exceptional display of skill and taunt the victim mercilessly

I made an experiment.
I wanted to have a very rough idea if a Kit Fox (Uller) could be viable with its stock speed of only 97.2 KPH (without a hypotetic speed tweak). I tried a Jenner with a smaller engine to get the same speed.. Yes i had not the weaponry of a stock Kit Fox, but the results were not much encouraging..

This one is gonna be good.
Drink a glass of a drink of your choice before every drop and try not to **** yourself for as long as you can.
Extra points for every player in your group, last man standing wins.

I was about to post about that ;)

Commandos... aren't to bad if you use them right (what is right? don't ask me, I don't know how I did it :D)

Locusts you spend more time running to the other side of the map to evade the enemies mechs. :P

Hey, I do over 600 regularly in my 9M now. That isn't such a problem now.
Also, pretending to be AFK is a crazy pro strategy. Ever gotten a whole team to power down at base on Terra Therma? It's hilarious what the results are.

That being said, pilot an AWS-8T
